North Wood High School
Alum: The school has good bones, but needs to work on equity and eliminate favoritism. The academics, sports, and music programs are stellar, however, the students involved in sports tend to get preferential treatment. I attended the school, and it was the same then. My daughter felt the same thing and dealt with bullying. The community is amazing, and growing up here and raising my child here was the best thing that could happen. My daughter ended up finishing out her high school career at the academy, which is still part of the school. This was a great opportunity and experience for her. The teachers were amazing and listened to her as well as helped her. This experience helped her to finish high school and get ready to attend a college for graphic design next year. I will always have a fondness for NorthWood High School and its teachers as it prepared me for my own career as a teacher. It instilled in me the qualities I wanted to have, and helped me become a great teacher.... Read 86 reviews
