Senior: The atmosphere on campus is amazing! The teachers are extremely helpful, and there are always an abundance of resources available for use, such as SAT study guides, FASFA seminars, and the principle or staff are always available for any questions there may be about college. Their unique online and onsite classes allows students to have a flexible schedule, while maintaining a high level of academic success. Whitmore Charter is a great school, and the opportunities they give their students lasts a lifetime.

Junior: I am currently a junior at James C. Enochs High School, and I would say I have an overall positive opinion of the school. This school provides their students with a lot of academic and volunteer opportunities, most of them coming from the wonderful college and work counselors. Teachers such as Ryan Farinha, Ana Salinas, and Wendy Brown are amazing instructors that can easily get any student invested in the curriculum they are teaching. An issue I have is the lack of SAT prep this school provides for their students. Other schools in the area have SAT prep classes after school, but yet this school provides none of those services. My family's financial standing is very average, so it's difficult for me to get help with preparing for SATs since we cannot afford a tutor like many of the other more well off students. Ignoring the negatives, I have formed wonderful memories at this school, and highly recommend any parent to send their child here.

The teacher's and staff are incredible mentors and very knowledgeable of the courses they teach. Modesto Christian offers many ways to be involved for students and parents, building a family oriented atmosphere.

Senior: The environment at Turlock Christian (TC) is fantastic! The teachers genuinely care about each student and will take time outside of school to mentor students. I came my sophomore year of high school from a school where I did not feel included and was depressed. Coming to TC was truly life-changing. I have been involved in almost everything: cheer, basketball, tennis, volleyball, powderpuff football, choir, worship team, Christian Leadership, Ambassadors, ASB, and FFA.
If you want a wholesome Christian environment where teachers will pray for and encourage you regularly, a place to explore and deepen faith, academic rigor, and abounding opportunities to participate in academic and extra-curricular activities, then come to Turlock Christian. I promise you won't be disappointed.

If something had to be changed it would be student involvement, which has been lacking in recent years. That being said, some students are working hard to make this change, by promoting newer clubs, and rewarding students and classes that are active in school related activities.

Senior: I've been attending Gregori High School since the beginning of my Freshman year. My experience here has been amazing. It has been amazing because of the new people and friends I've encountered throughout my years here. What I like about Gregori is that it has great faculty members that help you get ready for college. We have a great college counselor that guides us in choosing what we want to do after high school. Gregori gives us many options for college. Lastly, what I like to see change are extracurricular activities. We have clubs on campus but not has many. Therefore, students don't participate. I'd like to see more students participate in extracurricular activities.

The programs that are offered at Modesto High is so amazing that other towns commute to Modesto so kids can have the opportunity to get into the amazing programs Modesto High offers. Since there are students from other towns that attend Modesto High, people are able to meet people they never would before. The lifelong friends that you make and the programs that open so many doors makes Modesto High stand out in the best way possible!

Senior: My experience at Centrally Valley Christian Academy was a long one. I started from pre-school all the way to now, a senior. I found it to be an overall good experience. The atmosphere is very friendly and I think helps people build a strong relationship with God, while at the same time getting a good education. Things that may need to change is the staff and to have more of a professional environment, as it seems to get away with quite a bit for being a private school.

Alum: Oakdale High School is in the middle of a small country town in central valley. Therefore I knew mostly everyone in my graduating class, and majority of my classmates were the same people that I was also in kindergarten with. That being said, what we lacked was diversity and exposure to culture. Oakdale was a safe and educational high school with an incredible sports reputation and a surplus of talented students and educators. However after attending different schools now that I have studied Early Childhood Education, I firmly believe that Oakdale High School would benefit from more exposure to diversity, culture, and social justice education. I truly believe that my real life experience visiting and analyzing other schools has shown me how much a student can learn from experience, and I think that Oakdale's school system should embody that idea in order to help advance their future students educational success!

Senior: My school is a really amazing school. The students, the teachers, counselors, and sports, they are all awesome! The rallies are what brings us, students, together with feeling like a family. Teachers are really helpful whenever you need them and the counselors are great as well. They are really reliable especially about your concerns for scholarships and colleges. The sports are just truly amazing especially the Cheer team. They won 2x back to back National Champions!

Alum: I had some trouble with bullying throughout my four years at Beyer. This last year, though, we had a new Disciplinary principal. Mrs. Koozer quickly dealt with the girls picking on me and they didn’t bother me for the rest of the year. Beyer FFA Chapter is the best! Don’t let the name fool you, because you don’t have to be a farmer. You get to learn some great skills and learn a lot about CA’s Central Valley. Every teacher, with the exception of Mr. Holmes and Mr. Sullivan, is great! We get to do some great things and the Renaissance rewards are awesome!

So all Im going to say, is compared to most high schools, this high school is a really great school, and it´s the school to be at. I wouldn't want it any other way. Thank you for making these past years, the best years of my life, I couldn't be happier.

Senior: The experience that I have had at Merced High School has been great. Merced High School prepared me for this journey that I have ahead for myself and they did that by preparing me in my academics, my college readiness, and so much more.Something that I really liked about Merced High was the programs that they offered because those programs such as Gateway Scholars and AVID had helped me carve out my journey in this life, and helped give me the opportunity to tell my story. For a change at Merced High School I would say that they should promote more about the classes that they offer and to include classes that interest the students so that they have something to look forward to everyday.

Senior: I like that Golden Valley has very experienced and kind administrations and teachers. From my experience, the teachers care about the students very much and would often make time out of their day to reteach the lesson again for a student. The administrator are also very helpful and caring, whatever questions or concerns you have, you can approach them and they will respond back empathetically. Another thing that I love about Golden Valley is the communication. The administrator would send out email about our opinion of the food and what we think about our office hours. To me, it means that they value our opinions and what we think. I have a good experience here at Golden Valley and I believe that many others will too.

The adults push me to get work to be done now before it due for the real world outside of high school and into college by giving us activities to plan our prized path to our desired future and backup plans to get back on the tracks of the ride, eventhough it loops over and over again. Escalon High not only prepared me academically for my future, it prepared me to be emotionally ready for those loops in my path that might involve my family, my friends, my inner self, or even with the environment around me while some people are dreading the recent death of a fellow student in Escalon High. The fellow student was a loop of a loop that came to my path and Escalon High helped me just pass it safely and smoothly.

Senior: During my time in Orestimba, I have always felt very comfortable with the learning environment because of how teachers are always available and give us all the attention we need. If I or a classmate of mine seeks help, we will always receive it without delay. Two things I would say needs improvement is the clubs available on campus as well as the math department. I feel that there is a great variety of club options, however I have never heard any announcement or news of a club ever accomplishing anything. As for the math department, test scores show that students' math scores need to improve as a school, so a change in curriculum or teaching should be done.

Senior: Thomas Downey High School has been a very good school for the past 4 years. Most of the teachers and staff care about the students and want to see them exceed! Although the teachers want to see you exceed, a few of them could have better teaching techniques which would benefit the students. While a few teachers could use some improvement to their teaching style Downey is the home to some of the best and excellent teachers. To conclude and being 100% serious, one change I would want to see at Downey is toilet seat covers in the girls restroom. Athough it seems minor seat covers would make a big difference to female students.

Sophomore: Small campus. Good school. The students are pretty good actually. Very fun! The teachers are very nice and have one on one focus with students when asked for help. There are a few teachers who should be fired to be honest. Including, Ms. Acker and Miss Cowdrey. They are not very good at their job. Cowdrey is always late to her 1st period class and has cussed at the students many times before. She has threatened students to suspend them for dumb reasons. Acker plays favorites amongst her students and talks very badly about some of her classes, but mostly students.

Alum: Buhach Colony High School is one of the best schools in the MUHSD. My experience there was great. The AP classes provided at buhach are really helpful and they really do prepare you for college. The only downside of Buhach is that not that many students like participating in certain events. The students there don’t have any spirit and teachers don’t really push them to get involved. Academically the school is great! Teachers answer questions to the best of there abilities and they prepare you for college. The math teachers there also provide tutoring for the people who need it.

Senior: I love going to school at Hilmar High School. The relationships that students build with their teachers is really one of a kind and isn’t something that you see at most of the bigger schools. However, what I would like to change about the school is the academic opportunities. Most of our electives are AG/FFA based because of the area we live in and the lifestyle that most of our students grew up with. I just would’ve liked to have the chance to take more AP and Honors classes while I was an underclass men instead of having to wait until my junior year. Taking those courses would’ve helped bump up my GPA sooner and would’ve better prepared me for college.
