The Bryn Mawr School
#1 Best Private High Schools in Baltimore Area
Senior: If you want an exceedingly welcoming environment, a beautiful campus, and nurturing teachers and staff members, Bryn Mawr if the place for you/your child. I came to Bryn Mawr in the ninth grade and, surprisingly enough, the transition was great. I was a very shy person at that time, so it could be difficult for me to make friends sometimes, but through their summer buddy system, open house events, and running cross country before the actual school year started, I made friends with ease. You can easily take classes at Gilman or RPCS, so you get to have classes with all girls and co-ed classes. The arts community is amazing, and the athletics are pretty good too. However, my favorite thing about Bryn Mawr was how much I was pushed out of my comfort zone. I’m still introverted (it’s not a bad thing), but I’m significantly more willing to meet new people, go to new places, and be outside of my comfort zone. All in all, going to Bryn Mawr is the best choice I could have made!
