    Parent: I have had my kids enrolled at Basis Prescott since it opened. It has been a Godsend to Prescott as the public school system here is terrible. The teachers know how to teach their content, there are consistent after school times for extra help, the staff responds to emails and issues quickly. My oldest son graduated last year and walked into a $10,000/year scholarship at a private university just because he graduated from a Basis school. My kids are not geniuses, but have been provided with an outstanding education at Basis Prescott and have really soared to their maximum potential

    Sophomore: I chose to go to Orme because of the poor quality of the education I was getting in my public charter school. Even though my charter school was the best in the country, it was a very cold, un-personal experience. At Orme my teachers all know me personally and know how I best learn. They also challenge me daily in and out of the classroom. My classmates are from around the world, which is pretty cool. I can say I have friends from almost every continent!

    Senior: I love the sense of community in Tri-City. In this school, everyone knows everyone. Our student body consists of about 200 people. Even though it would be interesting to see what it's like to go to a bigger school, Tri-City presents so many opportunities. Because it's smaller than an average school, a person is more likely to get a leadership position in clubs. Even though this school is small, so many sport opportunities and over 30 clubs are offered. And, the opportunity to take Dual Enrollment classes exists at Tri-City. The strong emphasis on academics in Tri-City is phenomenal. Because of this school, I already have college credits as a senior. The principal and college counselor know everyone personally, which is good!

    Junior: The school overall is okay, it could improve. I’m a new student, I came all the way from Michigan. The staff and administration was pretty welcoming. The teachers could improve extremely, including classes like math or science, especially chemistry. They could also improve their selection of AP classes that they offer. The school have a pretty good food selection, it’s very quick and easy unlike the other schools i’ve gone too. The weather makes going to school pretty hard, it’s always gorgeous outside. But most of my teachers will have their windows and blinds closed all day.

    Senior: Bradshaw Mountain is a good school and has helped me through all four years. It has good teachers and administrators. They do need to just be a little bit more lenient on fundraisers and dances and what not. However, I would recommend this school to others. It’s a very pretty campus and is out doors! Bradshaw Mountain has great sports and many students have gone to great colleges because of it. It had many clubs and activities that you can join and very many college readiness tools and classes. I am not a big fan of the food but I have heard it is not too bad. Bradshaw Mountain also has an east campus that we can use for events like dances and what not.

    Senior: Mingus Union is a place where kids can get better every single day. Our teachers are always challenging us. Our teachers and staff work hard for the students. There are no students left behind. If a student needs help in the classroom our teachers will do whatever it take to get that student the help that they need. That is the biggest reason why I love the school. The school spirit is awesome! All the students support each other in sports, arts, musicals, and so many other things. It is not just a high school to me; it is a family.

    Parent: Commonwealth's faculty deliver a level of academic rigor that I've been unable to find at other schools. Just as amazing to me is the amount of nurturing and support the school is able to provide to students in attaining their full potential. Thanks to Commonwealth's small size, students are able to meet one on one with their advisors on a weekly basis. A good number of the faculty have university teaching experience, yet it's abundantly clear from the individual attention they give students both in and out of the classroom that they're at Commonwealth because they love teaching and working with teenagers. Another key ingredient in the quality of this school are the students it attracts: bright, curious, unpretentious, and not cliquish. My daughter, who tends toward quiet and reserved, has been at the school as a ninth grader for under a month, but has already made close friends. We're extremely fortunate to have found this school; I can't recommend it enough!
