La Salle High School

- Private School
- Union Gap, WA
- Rating 4.16 out of 5 55 reviews
Junior: I have had a great experience at La Salle so far! The teachers genuinely care about every student and encourage you to go above and beyond. The student body is very inclusive and unified as well. The curriculum and courses offered are all mostly college level so the school gives you the best education. I wouldn't really change much avout it other than the fact that its still a fairly new school and would be nice if there were mores students.

Senior: It’s a great school! It’s a smaller school, so everyone is close. Great teacher to student ratio. Each class is between 12-36 students. Has Bible class every year which I like. Overall, I would recommend.

West Valley High School
- West Valley School District, WA
- Rating 3.81 out of 5 129 reviews
Senior: I love this school. While it does have its faults (ie: lack of emotional support for mentally ill students, too much emphasis and money spent on athletics, and some bad teachers), it's the best school in the area by far. Not all of the students here are great, but once you find your people, everything fits in to place. I have had amazing teachers, enjoyed learning about subjects I'm interested in, been allowed to take a very non-traditional class schedule in order to challenge my natural abilities, and have gotten to organize and volunteer at great community events with my closest friends. Do your kids a favor, and send them to West Valley, a school with all the benefits of a public education, and the option of academic rigor like a private school.

Selah High School
- Selah School District, WA
- Rating 3.7 out of 5 128 reviews
Senior: Overall I have loved Selah High school all 4 years of my high school career. One of the things I love about the school is the counseling department. My counselor along with the other 2 we have been outstanding when it comes to mental health awareness and helping students who truly need it. They have a heart for every student differently like they are a child to them. They are always looking out for the seniors when it comes to grad requirements, scholarships, letters of recommendation, you name it! I also love how spirited we are, our community in Selah is very small which allows us to come together and celebrate the Viking Pride and nation. When it comes to football games, basketball games, and homecoming parades everyone is always out to support the schools and local businesses. Selah High School does a fabulous job of setting goals for us students and living through the Viking Way! Go Vikings!

East Valley High School
- East Valley School District, WA
- Rating 3.44 out of 5 71 reviews
Senior: My experience at East Valley has been good since I moved there during the 6th grade, it has always been enjoyable throughout the years going into high school. My senior year has been the most difficult because we are currently going through construction so that has brought complications like not having a gym to do pep assembly's. We currently don't have a library or auditorium but we have managed to try to make the year a good one despite all of the things that we have had to adjust to but the staff and students at East Valley are great and are helpful.

Eisenhower High School
- Yakima School District, WA
- Rating 3.77 out of 5 336 reviews
Sophomore: Before transferring at Eisenhower (background story) I was coming from a negative place mentally and emotionally. The beginning of freshman year was the worst. I was unmotivated. I felt overwhelmed, I felt foolish. It was to the point where I told myself I should give up. My second semester I was transferred to Eisenhower. Emmediately I felt the positive energy. That week I started feeling amazing emotionally and mentally! Teachers supported me as well as helped me with almost anything! They believed in me! Most importantly, I started to believe in myself. I finally felt like I can actually do it. Anything is possible when you try. There is an immensely diverse group of students. Including numerous of opportunities here at Ike. My favorite part is the abundant amount of electives. Resources are available when you need them, which is especially important to me. I’m so thankful I’m a part of Eisenhower today! Go Cadets!

Wapato High School
- Wapato School District, WA
- Rating 3.47 out of 5 148 reviews
Senior: My experience at Wapato High School has been amazing. I have been heavily involved in the extracurricular activities and the learning opportunities that they offer. Through the opportunity to become involved in FFA and ASB (Leadership), I have also gotten the opportunity to travel, meet new people and contribute to my community. The one thing I would like to see changed, however, is the communication between Wapato High School and parents. Since most of the parents at Wapato High School did not finish high school, they do not know they have the opportunity to be a part of a committee. The opportunity for parents to be a part of something at their child’s school need to be advertised and talked about more.

Senior: My experience at Sunnyside High School was the best! The staff members are always there to help students and they care for their students as well. You get to bond with some amazing teachers. They make you feel welcomed, you will always have a place at Sunnyside High School. I love the school spirit. Everyone is involved when it comes to spirit week and pep assemblies. There is a variety of clubs that you can join and be a part of! I wouldn’t really change much about Sunnyside High School. Its a great school with amazing staff members!

Alum: I loved White Swan HS. What I loved the most was the community and the staff members who cared about your success to get a higher education. I loved being involved in sports which made my drive to go to college even more fantastic. Especially loved the academic understanding the staff helped students with even if it was on their time. The school shows they care about their students success!

Naches Valley High School
- Naches Valley School District, WA
- Rating 3.17 out of 5 66 reviews
High School Senior: The music program at this school is incredible. Being in the band is the best thing I've done here. NVHS is unique because it is a small school, so the kids in sports or the music program aren't just in that program. Our athletes are also a majority of our music program. Here at Naches, we do it all! I would definitely choose to come to this school if I had to do it all over again simply for the music program.

Mabton Junior/Senior High School
- Mabton School District, WA
- Rating 3.69 out of 5 13 reviews
Senior: Mabton high school is a small school but full of motivating teachers that only want the best for their students. Although we are a small town, the staff is very helpful and when a problem arises they are always there to help the students fix it. We have a small school but very big dreams. One thing I do wish would change is the spirit coming from the students. It all begins with us to make the change. I love this school.
