Bishop Rosecrans High School
- Private School
- Zanesville, OH
- Rating 4.56 out of 5 9 reviews
Senior: It's a great school if you're looking forward to do sports. The coaches and other students commitment to sport is strong. Academic wise, the school only offers 2 AP class so far (2018). Students can also challenge themselves with college credit plus classes, but the impact on their college applications are not comparable to AP. Teachers are helpful if you know how to ask the right questions. No pressure on students, but if you want to do well, you will have to learn how to study independently. Small school, small community. Students are friendly but hard to be close friends with. If you are confident with computers and technology, your help to teachers here would be appreciated. Overall a good school for independent students with desire for sports.

West Muskingum High School
- West Muskingum Local School District, OH
- Rating 4.13 out of 5 32 reviews
Senior: I've attended West Muskingum High School for all four years of high school and just as any other school it has had its ups and downs. For starters, the staff is absolutely driven to help each and every student succeed. Personally, I know that the teachers of West Muskingum High School are understanding and passionate about issues going on in a students life, and are crucial to the well-being of their students. However, I believe that often times the staff maybe be overwhelmed, as this year the schedule was switched from blocks to periods. So not only did they receive extra classes, but shorter times to teach them. This change also directly affected the students, as they were forced to take on a larger amount of course work than normal, for the entire year. West Muskingum differs from other schools in the area, as it offers multiple clubs and sports, as well AP and honors classes.

Zanesville High School
- Zanesville City School District, OH
- Rating 3.6 out of 5 65 reviews
Senior: Zanesville High School is a good school. I have been a student here for almost 4 years and most of the bad days I have had, have not a thing to do with the school itself. The staff and student body is full of good people. I like ZHS because of the help the staff is willing to give. There has never been a moment where I have asked a teacher for help, and they have said ¨No.¨ The guidance office is also extremely helpful. Any questions that I have had about college or anything like that, they've answered to the best of their ability. The staff actually cares about us. That is very important. In ZHS I would like to see a few things improve. The amount of trash talk we ZHS students get, is unbelievable. I want to change the societal outlook on our school. I wake up and come to this school every single day, for 6 hours, and I can assure you it is not as ¨trash¨ as everyone says and or thinks. Overall, ZHS is a good school. I have had a great 3 and a half, almost 4 years here.

Junior: From my experience in Maysville High School growing up, I've felt that it's shaped my identity to this day. I had the ability to listen to numerous opinions and I learned over time that there is not a single solution to a problem. There exists various methods to solve an issue. I've had wonderful memories and relationships with the teachers. Their support enables my motivation and inspiration. Overall, it's a very nice establishment. Perhaps not perfect, but I definitely see the fulfilling aspects of the school.

Philo High School
- Franklin Local School District, OH
- Rating 3.71 out of 5 65 reviews
Senior: Once I got into High School, I realized that the students here were more friendly and wanted to know who everyone was. The teachers are amazing and want to help you learn. They also want to push you to do better and I trust them to where I can tell them anything. I love learning and the academics here at Philo test my knowledge and make me want to do harder more preparing classes. My schools always makes sure we have a plan after high school and if we're going to college we're taught about scholarships, grants, and loans. The food is definitely not the best but it's definitely not the worst.
