Junior: The teachers are all very supportive and helpful but I think academics is held at a lower standard than it can and should be. There aren't as many opportunities as bigger schools, but the resources that are available are great!

Senior: In 2016, I began attending Spring Hill High School in Spring Hill, KS. I have enjoyed learning and experiencing new things. The school encourages community involvement inside and outside of the school. I have participated in Volunteer Club and became very involved in my community. I have found passion for helping and serving others and will continue this after graduation. I was involved in a program called PALS where I was able to bond with other leaders in the school while helping others by being a person that felt safe in confiding in.
The teacher's have been helpful, kind and understanding. Whether I needed extra help on my homework or just someone to talk to, they are there for me. They are always open to hear any of my problems or concerns and are willing to help me get through them.
The one thing that I would change is for the school to include a swim team. I am part of the Missouri Valley Swimming Program and I would have loved to be part of a girl's high school swim team.

Sophomore: Paola High School may not be the biggest school of all, but it certainly is big in pride. Just by going there for my second year, I feel like I belong and everyone is respectful. Our athletics department excels in many ways and may be one of the biggest focuses. Students at Paola strive to show pride and be considerate of others. Our curriculum is changing over to more of hands on project and displaying of our knowledge on our subjects, making our studying and learning excel with great outcomes. We have many opportunities to get involved with our communities. Our school building is kept clean and well updated. There is not a day I couldn't say I was proud to be a Panther!
