Sophomore: I'm at Grier as a sophomore day student, I came as a freshman, and I absolutely love it! It was definitely hard to adjust to a more challenging curriculum, but it has been a great experience. The academics are quite challenging, but there are levels for everyone based on their interest in/skill in certain classes, and the teachers are very helpful if you're struggling. I love how each person can personalize their schedule and after-school activities based on their passions and interests.

Alum: I enjoyed attending Huntingdon Area Senior High school for many reasons. The teachers and faculty were always hospitable and understanding. The police officer on campus made me feel protected and safe especially with all the crazy things in the world today. The high school is well maintained and looks very nice and welcoming to the public. The school spirit is like no other and it's a great school to attend.

Senior: They have a very good educational program as well as the teachers actually care about the students rather than just being there and teaching because it is their job. During my time at Mount Union I learned so many things and made many great friends with in the activities that the school had to offer. There was also several opportunities for trips and ways to learn things differently like going to FBLA states in Hershey PA to compete against other schools.

Junior: The teachers are one-on-one with their students and work to meet them on their own level. The class sizes are decent, as there will typically be no more than thirty students per class. Opportunities are vast as well. A student can be apart of as many clubs as they desire to participate in. Overall, the student population is quite small with less than 1,000 students in attendance. However, these students embrace those around them and the sense of community is overwhelming. The academics are improving as more and more college level courses are being offered, and the resources available for students are also getting better. Southern Huntingdon is not that diverse, though. The student population is predominantly Caucasian due to the ethnicity of the surrounding area.
