#6 Best Public High Schools in Bristol County
Sophomore: The school's academic variety is great, offering many classes in the arts, computer science, and core subjects. Many electives offered also cover specific facets of the common core curriculum, e.g., marine biology. The AP selection also stretches into all of these facets, giving students leeway in expressing their college readiness and desire to learn.
Despite the great academics, extracurricular selection doesn't appeal to many student interests. Students are free to start their own clubs with administrative approval, but many do not last beyond the year. An advisor from the staff must be assigned to each club, but they offer relatively little support in most cases.
The community of the school features few students of ethnic minorities, but that is predicted to rise in the immediate future. Those attending the school have all been very amiable in my experience. Moreover, the student body tends to be very friendly and receptive.
