Senior: While Spring Hill might not offer the variety of classes that the larger districts can offer, it still provides an award-winning education that is top-notch! In addition to that, and maybe even more important in the long run, it instills a sense of community and responsibility that you don't always get from the larger districts. Students leave just as prepared for college and with a great sense of self also.Read 9 Reviews
Alum: Paola is a great school district and has left a huge impact on me. I think the best thing about being able to say I went to Paola, is that everyone around knows how great of a school district it is. Education and athletics always persevere and are only getting better and stronger. Everyone is very supportive and even during the coronavirus, we are all connected.Read 4 Reviews
Alum: I love how small of a school it is, so everyone literally knows everyone. You aren't just in a school with a bunch of people you are with a legitimate family. Every one of us grew up together and not a lot of big schools can say that. Everyone is friends with everyone. The teachers actually have time for you, you aren't just left in the dark. The little group activities we do as a high school of less than 400. The only thing I would change is the fact the word gets around so fast at a small school like ours, other than that I wouldn't change a thing.Read 5 Reviews
Senior: I really enjoy my school district and the way we handled COVID. We are one of the few schools that offers full time in person classes, although online as well as blended learning are options as well. The teachers encourage the in person learning as it is the best experience for students to obtain material. If I could change something within the school I would want more freedom on travel during advisory periods or during lunch, but I understand that restrictions must be taken because of COVID.Read 14 Reviews
Senior: I have loved living in Seneca and getting to go to Nemaha Central for the past 13 years of my life. This community is so supportive of our school and I feel like we are one big family. Our school does its best to make sure the students and staff are in a safe environment and that we are satisfied. There's just something about this small town and loving school that make me want to come back home some day and raise a family. One thing I would change though is our school lunches. They aren't terrible, but they're nothing like what we used to get in elementary school. But if that is the only thing that I can pick out, that means that this school is pretty darn special to me and many others.Read 2 Reviews
