Parent: My son, of color, has had an excellent experience at Bullis overall. He has been there since middle school. He is an athlete on a competitive team. Bullis has lived up to the promise of "balance". Balancing school and sports are synonymous with balancing work and family as adults. It's tough! If you have a son, that is an athlete, choose wisely. Be sure that your child is getting what he needs. What people think of your child rubs off on them, so keep communication open and don't stay somewhere because it's "shiny". Mental health and how your child views himself follow them long after formal education. Bullis has a caring and hard-working administration. The new head of school communicates well and has ensured a safe environment during COVID-19 with weekly testing. Students take advantage of hybrid learning. Athletes participating in certain sports, however, must remain remote to maintain campus safety. We are going elsewhere, but we will miss Bullis's community and our friends.
