Senior: Albuquerque Academy is an excellent college preparatory school. It is highly competitive but provides all sorts of help for students in the form of approachable and passionate teachers, good counseling services, and study hall programs. The art and sports programs here are well funded and produce many great artists and athletes. Many Advanced Placement and GPA-boosted classes are offered, providing lots of opportunities for academic success. There are also many teacher- and student-run clubs for all sort of activities from Model United Nations to Environmental Club and Student Diversity Leadership Council. The campus is beautiful and very well maintained. The library and sports facilities are top notch and are also well maintained. The library offers private study rooms and just last year added a cafe for students. The art teachers are phenomenal and truly teach you how to create good art in almost any medium of choice, including photo-digital art and sculpture.
