Senior: It provides amazing academic opportunities and does well to prepare students for college. The teachers are amazing and the classes are small so students are able to receive the attention and help they need. The school spirit is lacking a little since the school is smaller however, the administration does a good job setting up pep rallies. It is also very safe with a lock system on every door, each student is then provided with a personal app that allows them to get into the building to prevent strangers from entering and there are police on campus for our safety.

Parent: My daughter started St. David's this year and we both have been thrilled with the school. Her teachers are invested, encouraging, challenging and very responsive. More than once, my daughter has stated how supported she feels by both the teachers and fellow students. I switched her from public schools as I worried she was not getting the academic instruction she needed. St. David's has been the perfect fit. One item to note, the school is Christian faith based and that doctrine is evident in school communications, parent groups and the values instilled in students.

Alum: I left Trinity feeling very prepared for college! I had a great amount of support from my teachers in both my faith and in my academics. They are all experts in their fields who care not just about the learning of the material, but also about the wellbeing and overall success of their students. I also enjoyed the smaller class sizes, which led to many lively class discussions. I have sought out smaller classes in college because of the experiences I had in small classes in high school. I highly recommend Trinity to anyone looking for a place that will teach their student well, foster spiritual growth, and encourage their student to achieve their own personal best in all aspects of life.

North Raleigh Christian is a great school to teach students how to love the Lord and others while receiving an excellent education. North Raleigh Christian sends students to college leaving them confident in their education and creative abilities. North Raleigh Christian allows each student to be creative and unique with many options for electives and sports! The North Raleigh Christian staff is very selfless and loving to each student. I had a wonderful experience at North Raleigh Christian Academy.

Senior: I've been at GRACE since kindergarten, and the community that this school provides is unlike anything I have ever seen. The class sizes are relatively small (never over 25), giving students the chance to develop relationships with each other as well as with their teachers. GRACE also gives students and teachers laptops to give access to more education and the ability to see and submit assignments online. Each student and teacher is also given an email address, which is extremely useful when communicating with teachers about needing help. The teachers do everything they can to help the students in their lives, not just academically. Every week, the students attend chapel and listen to a speaker talk about God. There is also an annual retreat at the beginning of the school year when the entire high school goes on a retreat for a few days for the students to learn more about God and build relationships with each other and the teachers while having lots of fun!

Parent: Oh man, do we love our school! The dedicated (and HAPPY, PROUD!) teachers and administrators and staff, the insanely good chess club and coaches, the diversity, the "STARS" messages the kids receive, and the academic focus have just blown us away. We chose this school after touring 10, applied via the magnet program, and nervously hoped we'd have a shot for our child to get in. It has been the best thing for our family. The entire culture of the school is excellent. It's cool there to be smart, talented, quirky, kind, and inquisitive.

Parent: We have been at Casa for 3 years now, with a child in 2nd grade and another in Kindergarten. My older child is now fluent in Spanish, and his other academics are very impressive as well. We have been very happy with both of their teachers, they are so loving while still being able to implement discipline when necessary. We love the diversity, the year-round modified schedule and the uniforms are a plus, too! We think this school is incredible and highly recommend it!

Senior: Randolph-Macon Academy is an amazing school. There’s no doubt about that. Its excellent Air Force JROTC program taught me what it means to be a true leader and to learn and respect everything our military does for this country.

Going to a boarding school did seem scary at first, but you are guaranteed to make great relationships in the dorms. I was very shy when transitioning from a small Middle School where I knew everybody. While this school was a lot larger, I still made many lifelong friends by participating in the school’s sports and intramural opportunities.

When I say the school prepare you for college, it certainly does. Just the fact that this is a boarding school already prepares you for out of state colleges. The military aspect further solidifies your capability to be organized and have proper etiquette. I cannot stress this enough that this school prepares you for real life!

Senior: When I first enrolled into K12 International Academy, I was beyond overwhelmed by the amount of work, lack of direct teaching and by the online cirriculum. However, it wasn't until my second semester in K12 that I really began to enjoy the school. K12 Int. Academy is difficult, but, it taught me to prioritize school, implement healthy study habits, and prepared me for pre-med courses because I would spend over 10-12 hours studying in one day. I took very difficult courses (all AP classes) but, teachers are helpful if you reach out and if you follow the calendar, you will be golden! Good luck!
