Alum: I attended Satellite High School from 2014-2018, overall I was happy with my experience. The thing that personally stands out about Satellite High School to me were the teachers, very few times before attending this school did I feel as if the teachers actually cared about me as a student and a person equally. From common core classes to extracurriculars, teachers cared about their students not only in class but out of class as well. I have very fond memories of a few teachers in particular that went above and beyond daily for their students. Even two years later after graduating I still keep in touch every once in a while with some of those teachers. With what Satellite High lacks in diversity and overall "school culture", it makes up for in the department of education/faculty, good sports teams, and a multitude of extracurriculars and clubs. Proud to be a former Scorpion!

Parent: We are entering our 4th year here and we love it. Our school may not have some things that other schools have like sports teams or a big gymnasium, but we have excellent teachers and office staff. They truly care for our kiddos and their education. There will always be a special teacher that especially touches your heart and we have had several here at WMSS. We have had some teachers move or some office staff retire, but it doesn't deter from the excellence this school provides. We are a family. We support each other. My kids love their school which makes me beam as a parent.

Parent: As a mother of 2 at MICS, I can confidently say there is nowhere else I would want my boys to be. Top notch for academics, safety, sports, fine arts, STEM, and Biblical worldview. Having a clinical psychologist on-staff has been a valuable resource as the school truly aims to keep my kids safe and excelling in all ways: academically, physically, emotionally, and spiritually!

Parent: Best school ever. This is definitely the best school in Florida. The teachers and staff treat you like family. My kids love it and had tons of friends on the first day. There is no bulling and only kindness. My kids say the art teacher is awesome and fun, there p.e teacher is funny and cool, there media teacher is very sweet and kind, and there music teacher is creative and has a nice voice. My kids never want to leave

Alum: The central location of Merritt Island Highschool is awesome! There are plenty of student friendly breakfast options nearby and it is located across from a public library. The school itself has the commons area located in the middle, with classroom wings extending from there. I love that you can choose to eat lunch in the cafeteria or outside in the sunshine.

Parent: Commonwealth Academy is above and beyond what anyone could possibly imagine for their child. We needed to find a small, specialized school so that our daughter could thrive and succeed. It was a thrill to find such an inclusive atmosphere filled with dedicated administrators and teachers. My daughter has an anxiety disorder and OCD. Every single teacher CARES. The combination of education, creativity and fun that they have created is unmatched. The classrooms are small and kids with every learning difference are treated with respect and patience. Without the chaos and fear of a big school, our daughter got past the nerves that held her back and learned to speak to adults and advocate for herself. She had warm and nurturing advisors who saw her potential and appreciated her strengths - they gave her CONFIDENCE. The education and unparalleled college prep she received from C/A is why she's thriving in college today, and why our younger daughter is now a C/A student.
