Middle School Student: Casady School is the best school in OKC. It cant even be compared. You see, Casady's education is top nautch for all subjects. All though Casady has the best education, if you want somewhere that has great sports this is not the school for you. The diversity is being worked on, but Casady support all religions! The teachers push you through challenges but will always have your back. Now, If you want to go to a great college, Casady is your prep school! Its safety is off the charts. Lots of security guards and drills practiced every year. Although Casady has a pretty bad sports rating its hockey is amazing! The food is delicious from SAGE dining! Different hot meals every day! The school is kept very clean. If your a parent you can help out with field trips, sign up to be a teacher lunch in, etc. They have great science, math, and technology classes, guaranteed to get you into a food college! Sophomore: We’re a very inclusive school! We even have a Diversity and Inclusivity Council, which I’m on, where we challenge the student body to talk about some deep topics as well as be open to new ideas and opinions. We don’t have as many students as public schools do so the most students a teacher may have in a class is probably 16 versus public school where it’s 20-25 kids. The teachers at Holland Hall are very good at making sure you understand every aspect of the subject as well as making time for you if you need some one on one help. Junior: On the Heritage Hall campus, everyone is extremely kind, helpful, and cares for the well being of others. Middle School Student: I've been a student at Oakdale since Pre-4. Oakdales a great school and the more we grow, the more upgrades we're getting! I remember when Oakdale was just a small building with a playground and a tennis court. We now have 3 gyms, a track, a football field, 2 playgrounds, and the building is so much bigger! Parent: After attending Pauls Valley school, I had to get my son in a different environment. At Whitebead, he's a loved individual, not a check mark for funding. Whitebead looks at a child and says "How valuable he is!" instead of "How valuable are his parents?", which is what we ran into with PV school. He's getting moral support and academic support. Teachers expect a lot from their students. That just means they care enough to push them to succeed. Whitebead was the best decision we could have made regarding the education of our child.... Parent: This is our 1st year at Cleora Public School! It is a wonderful small school that cares about the needs of every child. This year they were able to provide free breakfast and lunch, flu shots, and family activity sports passes for the basketball games to everyone. Junior: Yes, we are "that school with a zoo," though more accurately, it is a barnyard. I've gone to Riverfield since I was 2 years old, so understandably it has become my second home. The teachers here genuinely care about every student, and the low teacher to student ratio makes it so that you form great relationships with your teachers. The community makes you feel safe and free to be yourself. Students are able to be apart of whatever extracurricular they'd like, whether that be debate, drama, tennis, basketball, rock band, student government, etc., and however many they'd like as every team and club is welcoming to beginners. Parent: Great education. Students are taught to use critical thinking skills at a higher level. Teachers and parents are extremely involved with all students aspects. The available sports are great but not many options. The school is small and not able to provide many sports. This is the same for clubs and activities. I chose few stars for diversity and school culture because of race population. The majority of students are Caucasian. Many students and their families share the same believes and values. Senior: As a current senior in Mercy School, I can say that I have enjoyed my experience at the school and have learned many things while being here. First things first, this school is an Islamic School and with that being said, you would have to be Muslim to attend the academic establishment. The school offers various tools such as Quran memorization, the Arabic language, and in-depth lessons on Shariah Law. The school is k-12, so there are children of all ages that attend the school. Students are respectful to school staff and to other students, making the overall atmosphere absolutely superb. The school offers a variety of different activities such as soccer teams for the lower grades and the National Honor Society for higher grades. I can personally say that I am thankful to my parents for putting me in this school due to the fact that it made me into the person I am today and has paved the path for a future to look forward to....
