Freshman: I love Wheeler so much! I went to elementary and middle school there and just started high school. Throughout my whole experience, I have loved how the school handled difficult topics such as racism and they have done an exceptional job handling COVID. They are great at helping you meet new people and after spending 5 years at the school, I have made so many friends and developed many inter-grade and teacher relationships is that I think will last even after high school. I strongly recommend Wheeler for any budding activists and for anyone who is looking to expand their horizons. Come and visit during Unity and Diversity week in February! Junior: I have really loved my time at Lincoln. The teachers are really passionate about the subjects they teach which makes learning more fun. There is also a lot of support for the students if they need it and you can always meet with your teacher if you are struggling. Furthermore, the facilities are amazing and every day as a student you get a delicious free lunch. The whole community is very welcoming. Junior: I absolutely adore Bay View! BVA is a school that I consider my home away from home. I have met the most amazing teachers and people here. I have made connections that I never imagined I would make. The teachers at this school are so willing to help their students and they genuinely care about their students well-beings. This phrase is said a lot, but Bay View is truly like a sisterhood. It's more than a community; it's a family. I have gotten so many great opportunities here that I would've never gotten elsewhere. The school may be small, but there are so many activities and so much opportunities here that other big schools offer. I play sports, I participate in many clubs and even have leadership positions in some clubs, I do theater, I am an Ambassador, and most of all, I am Bay View. I am accepted and embraced here. Alum: I graduated from GBCA and was more than prepared for college. There are things here or there that I would do differently, but overall I loved my time there. Anything that I wanted, if expressed with respect and thought, they provided for me. I wanted more advanced classes so they found the way for me to take AP classes, have sports and other social opportunities. I am appreciative for the Christian teachers and morals that I learned there. Classrooms were unique to the teachers preferences but usually clean and always well lit. Senior: One of my many passions is science. There had been this incredible anatomy physiology teacher that taught the class and I knew it was taught well, resulting in my signing up. To my surprise on the first day of school there was a former accountant standing before me. He "taught" the class in brief lectures with many interruptions from students uninterested in the class. There had been no assessments, only occasional presentations. Some positive experiences at my school were my other passion, music. The music department had been a great comfort throughout my four years. I had participated in courses such as chorus, guitar, and the History of Rock and Roll.
