    Senior: I attended CA from k-12th. I have been able to get involved in many things and offered many opportunities I would not have gotten elsewhere such as close and personal relationships with my teachers, stellar college prep, and a community of students who care deeply about diversity and living by the school values which include respect and moral courage. Academics are also amazing. They have turned me into a person of character with better critical writing, reading and speaking skills!
    I'm aware that no school is perfect, but there are still some policies that need to be worked on. That being said, there are members of the administration that take the time to listen to talk to you when there is any type of problem.
    I am appreciative of all that academy has offered me. Growing up among a small group of people you have known for years can keep you from seeing many of the realities outside your little bubble, but even at the end of all of it, I feel prepared for the real world.

    Senior: I have had the opportunity to be very active in my community with amazing extracurriculars such as theater, athletics, and service. At CSG no certain person does one specific club or activity it is cool to be active. The teachers care about getting to know them as a person. CSG creates a very close knit community because of its small class size. There is a lot of free time in the highschool which allows for quality time with peers and studying.

    Senior: Very close knit community. Just like any other school however, there are pros and cons to attending Wellington. If you're looking for a high school experience primarily with exciting sporting events with large crowds Wellington may not be for you. But if you're looking for a well-rounded high school experience filled with unconventional high school classes, research opportunities, connections with fantastic alumni and mentors, and fun clubs and student organizations, and lots of school pride, Wellington is the perfect place for you. For an independent school, Wellington has great diversity in terms of ethnic diversity, political views , athletic interests, and performing and visual arts students.

    Parent: We came to Barnesville School for an educational preschool environment for our 4 year old twins and stayed because of the high quality staff, low teacher-student ratio and amazing opportunities afforded to students at this wonderful school. Our twins are now thriving in high school and our youngest will graduate Barnesville soon. The early introduction to public speaking (as early as kindergarten!), has made our children confident and poised young adults, and has prepared them well for challenges in high school and life. The supportive and encouraging environment in athletics and the arts allowed them to stretch beyond their perceived abilities and achieve. It allowed them to believe in themselves and the confidence to try new activities and clubs in high school without hesitation. Thanks to Barnesville we have confident, courageous and kind kids who are ready to take on high school (and the world!).

    Parent: Our family has had three children go through GCS. When they each entered high school, they were in the honors program at a school ranked in the top 10 in Ohio. Each took several AP courses, due to the preparation they received at GCS. Many students go into high school already having received credit for high school courses. All of our children got into outstanding colleges, and have done very well. They all graduated high school and college with honors. GCS is just outstanding. The academics fit with whatever academic level your child possesses, whether it be superior, average, or needing improvement. The extracurricular offerings are wonderful. The music and drama programs are exceptional. As one current student puts it, the faculty and students make GCS a family.
