Junior: Headwaters is a great school with excellent faculty. So many of them have PhDs and graduate degrees and practically all are kind and accessible. The teachers want us to succeed. The IB curriculum is another big highlight. I love the size of the school, but it's not for everyone, despite the size though, there are a lot of clubs and extracurriculars. Parent: Our child has attended Brentwood Christian for 10 years now (since pre-K), and we have been more than satisfied with the level of care and quality education she has received. The faculty and staff care about the students and challenge them to reach their full potential. The school culture is amazing and centered around kindness, compassion, acceptance, and strong Christian values. Over the time our child has attended Brentwood Christian, they've expanded their sports programs and facilities which has been great at providing a diverse set of opportunities to participate. The school also continues to invest in upgrading learning facilities and technology to ensure the students have the best resources available to them. Junior: Hill Country Christian School is an amazing school. When I first came to the school as a new student, I thought I wasn't going to make any friends. The first day that I walked through those classroom door people came straight to me and started telling me their names. I made some friends the very first day. The best part about being at the school is that I can see that everyone at the school loves the Lord. Whether it's through the worship team or just in everyday classes.I think the worst part about being at the school is that some classes are outside in portables. Starting from middle school you could potentially be going back and forth from the main building to the portables depending on your class schedule. It can be tiring especially since most other classes are on the third and fourth floors and the stairs to get to those classes are very steep.A reduction in price of tuition would be nice. Senior: I have gone to Hyde Park Highschool since my freshman year. Originally I was nervous to transfer to a private school and experience a new environment. Thankfully Hyde Park was extremely welcoming, with teachers who genuinely care. The students are always trying their best which motivated me to take my school work seriously while still having fun in sports and clubs! Parent: We are still new, but Rutledge is a great school. The teachers and staff are very friendly and responsive and seem to genuinely care about the students. While the level of rigor is not as high as I would like, there are opportunities for challenge for the students, including a wonderful GT program that is run by three fabulous teachers who really go out of their way to make sure the kids in the program have a great experience and learn some important skills--beyond just academics--as well. I would like to see more innovation happening in the classrooms and some revamped learning spaces, but all in all this is a great place to be. Junior: This is the best school I have ever attended! All of the teachers are amazing, there are some you can identify with more than others. The student culture is great, and we are doing our best to keep Christ at the center of our Christian school. The extracurricular teachers are absolutely amazing... choir, dance/cheer, and worship team have especially engaging, caring, and Christian instructors. The opportunities offered are great! We grow really close throughout grade levels. The academics are good. The school offers many advanced classes (such as ACC Dual Credit, AP, and Honors). Teacher do their best to work with every student. Our teachers and staff members will pray with/for you and really care. They really lead our school for Christ. Our school is safe, and we take many precautions. The homework is reasonable, and teachers can work with students. No school is ever perfect, but this school is everything you could ask for... Parent: Chandler Oaks Elementary School is a wonderful school. The teachers, staff, and administration are very welcoming and helpful. Every day students and parents are greeted by the teachers and principal as they enter the school. Teachers and the principal are very accessible and willing to discuss any concerns you may have. In addition to great lesson plans, teachers provided one-on-one attention to students who need it, including students who are a little behind the class, as well as students who are ahead of the class. For students who need a little extra help, the students get the help they need.
