Parent: Our daughter always did very well in public school but she often found herself board and unenthusiastic about school. Since switching to Augusta Prep, our daughter LOVES going to school. She finds it an engaging and academically stimulating environment where she is challenged and encouraged to think for herself. Her teachers have all been very loving and her classmates are all inclusive and kind. I have been very impressed how the school encourages children to take responsibility for their education and offer positive rewards when goals are met. Works Here: Westminster is truly the best place I've ever worked! The faculty & staff are so genuine and caring and make it a place I love to come each and every day. Our students are the sweetest, most polite group of kids and the level of care that the teachers take with the students is evident. Westminster is a place that is teaching the intangibles- spiritual sensitivity, empathy, conflict resolution, critical thinking, leadership and discipleship. Senior: I switched from public middle school to private school for the 8th grade. I was only planning on staying at Mead Hall to finish out middle school but I loved it so much that I wanted to stay for high school. The small classroom size has allowed me to become really close with some of my teachers. The small grade size allows for closer friendships. Our college counselor has been amazing in preparing me for college next year. Over my four years in high school, she had come to me about better preparing me for college. The food is amazing. Our lunch ladies are the sweetest people and they know you by name. The food is homecooked meals that are absolutely delicious. Parent: My daughter went to Steven's Creek from K - 5th grade. Overall she had great teachers. The PTA is amazing at raising funds through auctions and other fundraisers - so much so they had the means to help provide 2 Spanish teachers during the yrs my daughter was there. The only complaint was being a working middle class family who didn't live in the desired neighborhood, my daughter experienced some snobiness with some students; however, I am very pleased with the education she received and her readiness for middle school.... Junior: This is my sixth year at Augusta Christian. My favorite thing about Augusta Christian is that the school has amazing teachers. Almost every teacher I have had cares deeply about their students. The teachers teach their students, but they also mentor their students. I also like most of my classes. Augusta Christian is a small school that does not offer many AP classes, but I have enjoyed all of the AP classes that I have taken. I recently took two AP exams and I felt very prepared for them. My teachers taught me what to expect and I am confident that I did well. One of the things I would like to change at my school is our buildings. They recently built a new building for middle school, but the high school buildings need to be updated. Some of the classrooms are too small for our growing student population and many of the heaters are not working properly. The gym also needs to be updated.... Read 105 reviews

Parent: The IEP Team is exceptional! I was worried because I knew I was sensitive about my son’s disability and I heard a lot about black and white treatment!! That was the furthest thing from the truth, those ladies and that gentleman were awesome!!! My son loved them and he advanced in his learning. He was a HANDFUL!! They knew I was passionate and it definitely takes a village; especially with special needs kids!! They were always there for me and my son…ALWAYS!! I just pray GTMS is just as good!!! Junior: I've been here since freshman year. Our school is very religious, you can see that from the name. The high schoolers and the middle schoolers go to Chapel on Wednesdays. We are required to dress up in a school shirt or dress like we are in church. The academics here are amazing and it has really helped me get far. I must admit when I first got here, I felt scared and out of place because I knew nothing about the Bible, and quite frankly I wasn't even a Christian! But as I got used to the atmosphere, I realized the loving environment here at our school. I've made very good friends here the teachers are so supportive and so nice. You can feel the love from everyone. In sports, you'll always have amazing coaches. I'm in Air Rifle, and I just started Basketball and plan to start Softball soon.
