Parent: Fayston Elementary School is like a family. The staff know the families well, thanks to its small size. There is collaboration between grades (reading partners, special event partners). This is a school that recognizes there is a lot more to a child than their test scores. The teachers go above and beyond to meet the needs of all students. Niche User: The Waitsfield School has been improving steadily in recent years. The staff is first-rate, and the principal committed, aware, and caring. There are a variety of options for students to enjoy, the P.E. program is excellent, and the arts and music options round out a diverse and engaging program. Parents are friendly, the PTA is welcoming, and the academics are solid. Senior: I have been attending Websterville Christian Academy since the sixth grade, and can say with certainty that it is a great school. Though limited in its resources, the staff body employs a number of tactics to capitalize on financial, resourceful, and opportunity limitations. Because of the school's smaller size, it is understandably close-quartered; however, students are still provided with sufficient classroom spacing and breathing room. Additionally, this proximity "issue" can be considered a blessing in disguise. More than any problem this closeness causes, it promotes a communal and familial atmosphere in which students can grow as peers, rather than strangers. Parent: We have not had any issues with TBPS. My oldest child is almost through third grade and loves his school. The teacher for grades 1/2 was not a good match but you will have that anywhere. My only complaint to the school was handled well but I do know others who have had trouble. I truly believe Thatcher Brook is a good school for my children.... Read 1 review

Senior: Twinfield is one of the most unique schools in the state of Vermont. The students are the kindest and most welcoming group of people, as a small school with only about 120 kids in the high school we are all one big family. The teachers are always willing to help students with both school help and when we are in need of someone. One of the most interesting things about this school is our unique student curriculum. One of my favorite things about Twinfield is our Renaissance program. This is a class offered at school where students are able to create their own study. This study can be anything from yoga to a nursing internship. Through this program we work with mentors and businesses to help prepare us for our future and it helps personalize our learning. If I had to change one thing about our school it would be the diversity of students.
