Junior: Coming from a different middle school to Saint Stephen's and Saint Agnes School (SSSAS) for ninth grade, I found the transition to be quite easy and there are a lot of different opportunities to get to know other students before school starts. My favorite part about SSSAS has been the opportunities that come with a flexible schedule and a multitude of different elective classes including art, music, design, technology, journalism, health, robotics, and STEM classes on top of the core classes. I had the chance to try different classes and take risks to find things that I am interested in. These opportunities, that come with a small size school, extend beyond the classroom to sports, clubs, and leadership positions and help to turn students into well rounded people that are able to make lasting connections with a diverse range of people. Alum: such a fulfilling experience, where I learned things that none of my friends ever will. Philosophy, Apologetics, and Calculus are just three of the amazing classes offered here. My only problem is that this school turns kids into very attractive students for colleges, yet offers little to no academic programs or awards for these students to show it. No AP or IB, no dual credit, and no honor society. Almost anyone at this school could achieve these awards, yet the school doesn't offer them.... Read 41 reviews

Alum: I loved every single minute that I spent at Heritage. The teachers were deeply invested into the students, and wanted them to succeed in their lives, not just getting them to pass their classes. The small class sizes were very nice, for I knew every single person in high school and I was able to develope very deep friendships with both my peers and teachers. The teachers were also willing to take time to meet with students, if the students wanted to talk about anything at all, from family troubles to questions about ethics and homework. The food from the cafeteria was the best! Almost everyday there was a dessert option, and there was always some sort of fruit or vegetable on the side. Chili and cinnamon roll days were my favorite. The classes that I took challenged me to apply myself and to put forth effort if I wanted to achieve the A. All in all there is plenty for any student to do, both in and out of the classroom.... Senior: I’ve loved my time at SJC! It took a little bit of time to get used to as a freshman because of how technologically dependent the school is. Most, if not all, work is done on the IPad which is great for so many reasons. The student life is amazing and staff want to see you succeed. However, some of the older teachers tend to get stuck in their ways of teaching and need to modernize their methods.
