Parent: We have one daughter in K at NPS (she started in nursery). We love NPS and could not be happier with our choice! She has been through so much change these past several years and it’s impossible to overstate how much social emotional growth and support she’s experienced at NPS. She’s also had tremendous academic growth and is reading, writing, doing simple math, is curious about the world and loves learning. Probably my favorite part about the school are the wonderful specials — my daughter loves the singing, art, music, drama, sports. She even comes home talking about what it means to be a good person based on the core values that are woven through the school lessons and chapels. Parent: Is the first year for my daughter as a Sophomore, it was hard to be far from her, but the independence, self steem and knowledge she is acquiring surpass our expectations, she loves her Pre-Cal and biology teacher, she is in the tennis team, and the step club, everybody make you feel welcome and part of the community, and the spiritual part is so important these day to grow faith in God. Freshman: Many of the low-rated reviews speak of the workload that the school gives to the students, and that is partially because the school is at a preparatory level for college. There are numerous live sessions, help labs, recordings, and teachers that will aid you. To graduate, you have to have twenty-four credits (specifics on their website). There are many clubs that are offered to immerse yourself in the school for high schoolers especially. This school is powered by Stride Inc. that powers two other schools. One of them is George Washington University Online High School. GWUOHS is especially prestigious; since my sister attends GWUOHS, I have seen her curriculum and everything is almost if not exactly the same, but it is much more expensive.Albeit the school is rigorous, I highly recommend this school as the teachers are helpful, there are students from around the world, the coursework should get you prepared for college, and the school is interactive considering it is an online school!...
