River Oaks School
Senior: I have attended River Oaks from the very start of my education, in kindergarten. As I grew up, the school's shine that it seemed to be coated in when I was a child slowly began to fade. I always will love River Oaks, but due to its lower funding, it was hard sometimes to accept that I didn't have a lot of opportunities. But there were several things I love about River Oaks. River Oaks has provided me with friends that I will never stop learning from or challenging to make ourselves better. I have learned to work-hard on my academics, since I am the only one who can guarantee my success. The school does ensure equality, with every student being given the same chance to shine in his or her own way. So while I wasn't afforded the same chances as some other schools, I was given the opportunity to learn about myself, teach myself to think, and I became a better person. River Oaks is the only school I can imagine myself at, and I appreciate everyone who has helped me on my path.... Read 31 reviews
