Senior: I first came to Long Island in late 2011 from Canarsie, Brooklyn, and I started first grade at the Deauville Gardens Elementary School. Following the completion of elementary and middle school, I attended the Walter G. O'Connell Copiague High School starting in September of 2019. In my 4 years here, I have to say that I was truly happy to be a part of such a wonderful school community. It's easy to make friends here, the teachers are very supportive and rigorous, and everyone is really accepting. The activities the school offer is truly wonderful, and everyone strives for success through friendship, hard work, and fun. Although I'm leaving the school in June, I thank it for the position it brought me to. Although it's a good school, it has it's problems, such as misbehaving students and gang activity....
