Bishop Garcia Diego High School
- Private School
- SANTA BARBARA, CA
- Rating 4.42 out of 5 50 reviews
Sophomore: Anyone who goes to Bishop can tell you that it's a one-of-a-kind school that provides a truly fulfilling high school experience. The teachers are supportive and friendly and the student community is tight-knit and fun. Because Bishop is a private school, students are given high expectations and many opportunities to achieve their potential. The campus is beautiful, with red brick instead of plain grey concrete and plenty of grass and trees. This produces a low-stress environment, that persists all the more with Bishop's "no-bell system," where there is no bell to indicate the end of a period, which works great.

Junior: I believe my school, Saint Joe’s, is a well rounded school. We have awesome clubs to participate in, exceptional sports, and amazing staculty to teach us! We are like a small community; a family. Everyone knows each other. I feel very accepted at this school and I couldn’t see myself anywhere else. I am very grateful for having this opportunity of seeking higher education. I appreciate learning and discussing my faith. I enjoy having smaller classrooms. Personally, I excel learning this way, so I am glad I do not attend a public high school. We have the best food in the WHOLE wide world. I can not eat it anymore due to my newly discovered food allergies and intolerances, but it makes me appreciate even more. I feel like our high school is the best on the central coast- clubs, sports, and academics. I am still in high school, which unfortunately is filled with unnecessary drama, but I am proud to be a Knight and will always be proud to represent my school.
