Parent: My daughter is currently a junior Westwood high school and has been in the district since Kindergarden. I am very involved there at school. All staff and teachers are very welcoming and encourages parent involvement. My child has been taking duel college classes. I feel the school is preparing her for college and for her success. The district offers a variety of clubs. My daughter is in the NHS, FCA, Ryla, Hosa, Junior ambassador, Spanish club. This is just to name a few of the clubs that are offered. These clubs help to learn of leadership and also gets kids to be involved with volunteering in community. It is very warm and safe environment for children. The also offer sports to include but not limited to basketball, football, baseball, soccer, volleyball, cheerleading, tennis and many others. Freshman: I do wish they had more courses availible earlier in the school career. Such as, I as a freshmen have limited and mostly basic selections in classes. I also wish they would make college courses avalible earlier than 11th grade. I also wish they had more medical and nursing classes avalible and availible earlier. They have very good academic classes and a wide range and variety of sports. I do also wish they payed more attention to the band and other arts. It is a very sort orriented school.... Junior: Frankston Independent School District has done a fine job of including people. The administration, though unkind at times, and the teachers, who are often very inspiring to the students, have done wonderfully at offering many opportunities and clubs to the students. The involvement in clubs, sports, and overall attendance is phenomenal. However, the different grades are not encouraged to interact as much as I would like. I believe if the older students were allowed to tutor, read, and play with the younger elementary and middle school students, the community as a whole would be very grateful.... Read 6 reviews

Senior: The mind wonders to great places presently inhabited by the soul, for some it is the place where their heart breaths. It is so for me. I wake for the moment the bells ring, to walk across the mist kissed courtyard out-looking the evergreen pines. Living to seek the education it offers to those willing to earn it; In search of guidance from those certified to better her future. Finding the capability to recognize the honor of being a drop in the waves, of the student body, overlooked by a radiant sun. I discover enjoyment listening to the whisper of knowledge. It could be nowhere else, other than Neches High School, home of the green and white fighting tigers. Where the roar of the past will continue to echo. Senior: Cayuga is a public school that provides an excellent education for kids of all ages. I have been enrolled here since Pre-K and would chose to go here over any other school in this district. Alum: Hands down, one of the best schools in the region. Turns out the most well rounded graduates who are respectful, exhibit great character, and are prepared for life after public school. Very tough to find housing in the district due to parents wanting their children in the school system. I have heard they have almost 100 transfer students - parents really like their kids to be in this school.... Read 4 reviews
