Middle School Student: The school is pretty good. The teachers do care for the learning, each teacher goes into depth when it comes to certain topics. The most important part of the school is that the teacher's door is always open need tutoring, better understanding, or someone to talk to you have your chances. So academically wonderful Great programs to help for college like Avid. Avid goes above and beyond they help you to understand the college requirements to help you get there, when it comes to ACT test prep teachers help go over every problem to make sure you get it correct and understand why it is correct. Freshman: If you end up being in advanced classes, things will be a lot better for you. The teachers who teach advanced subjects are very inclusive and care a lot about your successful. Alum: I studied in Sherwood Githens Middle school during 6th grade. The community is welcoming, filled with professionals and exciting activities. The educational institution shared an individual approach with every single student, as each student received direct help from the teacher when it came to tackling issues, such as low grades, new challenging projects or fights, clashes between students. In addition, the school was strict, as any wrong action or misbehaviour could have led to detention. Having had come from Armenia, I was able to meet new friends, get accustomed to an ecosystem of the revolutionized school curriculum and was involved in a variety of projects. I surely recommend the school to every student, as a great start to their middle school journey. In all honesty, no flaws come to my mind when thinking of the school. My only recommendation to the school is to change the sport involvement policy, by organising such events more often and recruiting more students.... Read 3 reviews

Niche User: I attended Mendenhall in my eighth grade year. I enjoyed attending this school for the most part. Some of my teachers looked out for my best interest and prepared me for later in life, while other teachers sat at there desk the whole class and didn’t teach. The school doesn’t feel all that safe. Middle School Student: I absolutely love attending Southeast Middle School. I've thrived on my academics and extra-curricular activities there ever since I was in sixth grade. The teachers there care about their students more than anything. They actively teach them not only on the lesson but how to be a great friend, leader, and college-ready student. The only reason I would give Southeast Middle four stars out of five is that no school is perfect, and Southeast is not the exception. There is still the common problems of bullying that occurs on campus, however, not all of these problems can be addressed by the staff. The negative overuse of social media and chat rooms leave kids coming to school upset and having a lonesome feeling. I think as students, we should be helping our peers and standing up for them when the time is right. Very seldom will you hear of students using drugs but it can occur. For the most part, Southeast is a great school, and I'm glad I got to go there for my middle school years.... Read 1 review

High School Sophomore: I actually enjoyed every bit of attending at this school. My teachers were friendly and wanted what's best for us, and never gave up on any of their students. My favorite experience was that some times we had class outside when its warm and clear out. We get done our work and relaxed outside. It wasn't like others schools because it felt like we were a team. We planted a garden to donate food to shelters, and my favorite teacher identified an unnotified object in space with four of my classmates. My teacher and classmates was invited to NASA and gave a report while the rest of us watched them on the news, it was amazing. I would chose this school again because of all the wonderful experiences I've had, I had an amazing time attending this school being part of a team. And I'd never take it back for even a second.... Middle School Student: Southwest Guilford Middle school offers a wide array of supplementary classes for further learning. From Spanish to Orchestra to Band, students participate in a hands-on learning environment that fulfills the want to learn. Students are encouraged to create clubs and collaborate with peers in group settings. Teachers are sure to make individuals feel appreciated by catering to their learning style, whether they are visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learners. At Southwest, administrators value cultural identities with students present from over forty counties. I feel that classes are close-knit teams that are quick to listen, learn, and collaborate. As an eighth-grader, I am on track for a bright, prosperous, high school career. There are some inconsistencies with different teachers that teach the same course, though that is expected....
