Middle School Student: Theodore Schor Middle School is a great place and a great place for all those kids coming into the school in 5th grade. Unlike some other schools schor takes their time and eases them into the school, they visit the school once in 5th towards the end of the year to get a feel of the school. Going into the school is already difficult enough but thanks to the kind teachers that are always willing to help you if you need it they make it that much easier. In terms of academics, Infinity Institute has ranked number 1 in New Jersey, earning the title of a Blue Ribbon School. However, due to its small-scale and lack of federal funding, the school fails to offer passionate athletes with proper clubs and sports teams. Aside from academic distinction, the school fails to incorporate extracurricular activities tending to a variety of interests among the student population. Middle School Student: This school has alot of diversity and a good advanced education program for those who pass the test and can be enrolled into the curriculum. Middle School Student: RMS was a great school and provided me with a great Middle school experience. The best thing about this school is how much the staff cares about you. If I was having a bad day, teachers would always notice and make sure I was okay. Most of my teachers made sure to do things like give extra credit opportunities if kids weren't doing well in classes, and they were always available after school for help. This school has a wide variety of clubs that cater to almost everyone, and there is always something fun to do. The lunch was decent, but not great. Junior: My experience at Beloved community Community Charter School is very lovely. The teachers are nice and try to show efforts for the students to learn. The teachers are always there when you need them. They have the nicest teachers I have ever seen. The school is built on a college level of academics. They take academics serious and make sure you keep your GPA well. I love beloved so much because, the students are respectful and humble to the teachers. They also dedicate their hard work. Middle School Student: This school is pretty good. If you're quiet in class, the teachers will like you and be more lenient. Furthermore, with the exception of some teachers, they all are pretty easy to talk to. What I have found out is that after each year, I like my teachers a bit more because I open up and talk more. However, over all, A1 has many good teachers. One last thing you need to know: Academy 1 favors the bold. Always be the first to ask the question, the first to answer the question, and the first to help the teacher. If you do all this and keep your grades up, you will leave an impression. Parent: My son attends this school, he recently finished six grade and had an amazing experience. The school is secured and its safe. The teachers are involved and the students as well. My son is part of the honors math program and the teacher is amazing at explaining the material and is available for extra help. Alum: This school is a good school to go to if you live in Jersey city: decent education for cheap, the school is horribly underfunded and the teachers aren’t paid very much so they struggle to keep teachers, most teachers are good but some are annoying. K-5 classes have a great community but in the middle school people transfer in and out and a lot of annoying people come in. Junior: The atmosphere there is really nice and inviting once you get to know everyone, it's almost like family. Sports are a big thing for Woodbury and most people show their love for their sports through their team effort. I personally had a rough beginning with Woodbury when trying to fit in, most people attending Woodbury have been in the district their whole lives, so when trying to find a place to settle down it can become very hard.
