Parent: My daughters attended the Middle School and are currently in PSH. Both had positive experiences with teachers and administration. When we had an issue with course placement the principal listened to our concerns and responded by placing our students in the courses we preferred. Our daughters have excelled in honors classes. In 8th grade some changes were made to incorporate higher and lower level students into the same classes. I hope they have not continued that practice for math and reading. The high school has provided excellent opportunities to committed students. I hope the Middle School encourages students to work to their potential.... Read 3 reviews

Freshman: I just graduated from middle school this june so here i am reviewing my own school. The building was really nice and modern with all the open lights from outside. It provided the students a good environment to begin with. On another hand, bullying and drama took place quite often. Most of my friends and younger students had to deal with some sort of those things during their year. Also, the academic was pretty proficient. Most students excel their reading and math while participating in other activities such as sports. The teachers themselves are nice though some might be less popular than the others. Lunch, however, was not that great which is the same to the highschool's. Breaks between each class was decent enough for us to say hello to our friends when we walked by them. Middle School Student: Penndale was the greatest school I had the pleasure of going to. While there were a few teachers I had the displeasure of meeting, most of them were quite extraordinary. For someone who moves a lot, I've never been to a better school. Mostly, everyone was kind and I loved almost everyone I met. The school was huge and filled with knacks and twists and turns about as cool as Hogwarts. I miss it greatly. I now am going to a middle school in Virginia, which is by far the worst school I've ever been to. Anyone who complains about Penndale, is likely, incompetent - for they haven't seen the abundant crappy schools in America with their own eyes.... Read 7 reviews

High School Freshman: I like it a lot better than my other schools because our student council, which I am on, is very active. The teachers are usually very good at making things fun. And our grades (like 7th, 8th ect) are set up so that neither the high school or middle school has too many kids, which is why I am becoming a freshmen but still at the middle school. Our class sizes are nice sized too, and it is likely you can get a smaller class. Junior: Abington junior high school is still a relatively new school, so the appliances are pretty up to date. The faculty is strong and their honors programs are well run. This school has a program for all learning levels. There are many different clubs and activities, so everyone can find something they are interested in. It is very easy to make friends. The diversity is fair. The Abington school district prepares students for college significantly well. This school is extremely safe. There are multiple security guards on duty at all times with a real police officer that is assigned to the school. Middle School Student: I am currently in middle school at SCSC and I would consider it a second home. I believe the learning process is fit and customized to the student so that the student personally can grow as an individual in all kinds of aspects. The teachers and students are all very welcoming the moment you walk in. SCSC is not like other schools. I feel the diversity at this school is excellent. One thing that makes my school so unique is a little thing we call "100 Book Challenge". Each school day we read 30 minutes of a book of our choice that is our level. Based on the student's reading ability, we are matched with a level. We log a line every 15 minutes we read. The point of this is that if you reach a multiple of 100, you get awarded a medal and recognition of the entire school. I have not even scratched the surface of what makes my school unique and extraordinary compared to others, but I'm running out of room to write. Senior: The teachers in the school were absolutely amazing. They were all supportive whenever students needed help or were being bullied in school. There were also programs to work with teachers during lunch if you were falling behind in class or needed extra work. Middle School Student: I am a student at KV. KV is one of my favorite life experiences. On the first day of school, teachers and older students were so welcoming and cheerful. Everyone is treated respectfully and given a fair chance to participate in extracurricular activities. Middle School Student: Colonial Middle School is a great school overall , the only things I truly did not enjoy were how they did the dances , asked for a amount of money to attend after school activities that could've did more for the students . Middle School Student: This school is an incredible example of diversity. With people from all around the world, all uniting into one school where they can all belong. All are welcome to the environment.The school is a place for escape, no matter the situation at home. You always have an individual to talk to with whatever criteria you are in. Although, like every other school, there can be some flaws. For reference, students may find themselves in a predicament where they may dislike a certain teacher or class. Middle School Student: I had a bit of a hard time throughout middle school, but I really enjoyed the theater and chorus programmes. There are some great teachers! I loved how Welsh Valley offered Artifacts, Waterbound, and ViewPoints to kids who learn better with experience. The library is very nice too! Having a time at the end of the day to do homework is very useful. One thing to be aware of is the fact that there are a lot of children who are depressed and it can get kinda stressful, as someone who had a friend who needed a lot of help.
