Hawfields Middle School
#2 Most Diverse Public Middle Schools in Alamance County
- Alamance-Burlington Schools, NC
- Rating 4.67 out of 5 3 reviews
Middle School Student: I am a student at Hawfields. The teachers so far, have been amazing and they will go to extents to make sure that you are learning everything that you need to know. I aced my North Carolina Final Exams for social studies because my teacher had made sure that I understood everything, but without cheating. This school has many nice people, and it shows that we are above average. I look forward to school every day because it is an environment that I feel welcome in! I would say that this would be a very good school to put your child into.

River Mill Academy
#8 Most Diverse Public Middle Schools in Alamance County
- Public School
- GRAHAM, NC
- Rating 3.47 out of 5 58 reviews
Senior: My experience at River Mill has been eye opening to the difference in a charter school and public school. The classes are smaller, which helps with teacher/student interaction and learning. The teachers seem to care more and want you to succeed. You can get college based courses and credit for college. Overall, it's a good school experience from K-12, all in one setting.

The Hawbridge School
- Public School
- SAXAPAHAW, NC
- Rating 3.76 out of 5 72 reviews
Senior: Hawbridge has outstanding teachers that provide a unique, engaging curriculum for their students. ¨Place-based education¨ allows the natural areas and businesses surrounding the school to be used as a learning resource. Things like sports, electives, and clubs continue to improve each year. This school is not for everyone -- some students thrive better in the traditional public school setting-- but I personally have had a very positive experience as a Hawbridge student. I look forward to seeing how the school grows with the addition of a new building.

Clover Garden School
- Public School
- BURLINGTON, NC
- Rating 3.85 out of 5 66 reviews
Senior: I am currently a senior at Clover Garden. I have attended clover garden since seventh grade through my senior year. I would personally say this school is a decent school and I would say this school does provide the material and knowledge to prepare for college. I have been a Beta club member since 7th grade. My grades have majorly stayed up in the straight-A range. I have attended Alamance Community college classes to prepare for college since my tenth-grade year. I have been very active in sports by playing volleyball, basketball, and soccer. I have also been nominated two years in a row for homecoming and I won my junior year. The environment at clover garden is very inviting and encouraging. I feel like every school has there flaws but at this school, I feel that they don't always enforce the rules with everyone only certain people. The dress code system and administration system can be biased at times and unreasonable.
