Sophomore: Northside High school is a very diverse school. Its diversity is what fueled its ideas and compassion. There was never a boring day at Northside Highschool, and many teachers were there to help students in any way possible. The coaching staff at Northside is nothing like I've seen before. I was blessed with the opportunity to meet a coach that brought me to the next level. I will say I wish Northside was more open to change and had more resources at hand. Sometimes Northside would be short-handed, and the teachers seemed overworked. Senior: I am a senior in high school who has been going to Lisa Academy since I was in elementary school. I've seen this school change in so many ways, mostly for the better! There isn't much extracurricular wise, if that bothers you then you probably wouldn't like it here. However, the college prep is insane. I feel much more prepared than my non-Lisa peers. If you're looking for a school that is hyperfocused on the future of its students, then this school is the perfect fit for you. Parent: My son has attended LISA Academy since kindergarten. He is now a senior in high school. He has received an excellent education and it shows in his preparedness for his future. Senior: The future is one of the best schools in Fort smith. Future is more of a hands-on and real-world learning school. On Wednesday there are internships. The internship process consists of finding a place/occupation that interests you, then calling them and explaining why you called then asking for a shadow day. Then within the next week or two of shadowing them, you proceed to ask about interning with them. The future school also does exhibitions. Exhibitions are the students showing off what they have learned in class, WATC and outside of school. This happens twice a year once a semester at the end. The school is also more of a student based place as well. The students can pitch their ideas to the staff and usually, they accept it and put it into action. The staff also is very encouraging and supportive when a student has an idea or project. Senior: My experience with Central High School has been wonderful. I have met so many different people due to the diversity at Central and I have gotten the opportunity to make lots of great friends and connections at this school. Central has a great variety of clubs that cater to all different types of people and hosts many events that offer volunteer hours for students. Not only are clubs available but the school also offers after-school tutoring and assistance for students in need of assistance. Central High School puts together a Black History Month performance every year which successfully educates students on African American traditions and lifestyle. Although Central is an amazing school, I would change the fact that the building is not the cleanest it can be. Central is an old school and is in need of more maintenance with ceilings, floors, and walls. Senior: My overall experience in Springdale High School has been amazing. There is a diverse environment with people from different backgrounds. The faculty is great, there are very invested in the students futures and do everything they can to help them succeed. Being involved in sports, cheerleading, has made my experience so much better. I have met so many new people with the same interests as me and will continue to stay in touch with all of them past high school. Springdale High School provides me with many resources on school past high school, as well as a lot of other amazing opportunities. The Medical Academy is one of those amazing opportunities. I have been a part of this academy for almost 3 years and I have been able to step into the real medical world. I got a chance to volunteer at a nursing home and a hospital to earn almost 30 volunteer hours! I was able to follow nurses around and help them with anything they needed meto do. Senior: Malvern High School truly has my heart. My parents and brother graduated from here and so will I this upcoming 2020 school year. This school is more than bricks, plaster, and concrete. It’s love, memories, and joy! One of my favorite things about the Malvern School District is how diverse the race is. You will find a little bit of everyone here. I love it because no one feels like an outsider. Senior: Choosing New Tech as my high school was the best decision I've ever made as it has taught me lessons not only related to class but about life as well. Lessons that will take me farther beyond any math or English class could. New Tech taught me how to pursue life beyond high school. Not only was it highly advanced but highly abundant in the amount of opportunities given to those just attending. I've earned several certifications and attended college classes during my final highschool years at a discounted price. Nothing else I've mentioned could top the "teachers" or facilitators as we call them as we the students lead our work and are only guided by our facilitators. Senior: I like the atmosphere at the school. The teachers, the classes, and the students at the school. I played volleyball at Conway High School, and the athletics program is also something I have loved about my school. Attending football, basketball, and baseball games has been a highlight of my time at Conway. Our baseball team and boys; soccer team won the state championship in 2022, and this year our girls' basketball team won, as well. Experiencing this was a once-in-a-lifetime chance and the administration at Conway fully embraced these opportunities. I have taken 7 Advanced Placement classes over my three years in high school, and all 7 of my teachers were exceptional. They prepare their students for the homework and test very well as well as for the AP tests. I have enjoyed the last 3 years at Conway High School immensely, and high school will probably be one of the highlights of my life because of my incredible experience at Conway High School.... Junior: Sylvan Hills High School is a great school! I’ve been attending Sylvan hills since I was in Elementary and I’ve never wanted to move because It is a good environment, and background. The teachers are great, If you are having trouble the teachers will do what they can to help you understand and feel better. I feel that the education is good, we always are having new things to do and learn about which is great if students want to learn more, attend college and have great careers! Niche User: Rogers High School was somewhat a great school. Their were activities to do and a lot of variation on what club or sport to participate. However I would say from experience that the orchestra in this school is somewhat ignored. You would rarely hear the support from them, which is kinda sad. There is a lot of diversity and most of the time everyone gets treated the same. Their is a lot of opportunity's in this school but sometimes the counseling center isn't much help.
