Senior: Carthage High School truly prepared me to go to college. They offer a variety of dual credit classes that assisted me in getting a head start in my college career. They offer many programs to help you find your career path. I participated in the Teach and Train Program and decided I want to become an elementary school teacher. I know there are medical and criminal classes to take as well! My counselors helped me in every way to ensure I was ready for college. I had the best experience possible playing softball here as well.

Joplin High School
#2 Most Diverse Public High Schools in Jasper County

Senior: I love the atmosphere at my school, as the building is very open built to have a diverse learning environment. There are many windows throughout which make it a more interesting place to learn, as well as feel connected with the outside world while in class. Most of my teachers throughout my schooling experience at the high school were very kind, understanding people. They would answer questions whenever I asked, and make sure that I understood what I was doing. There were some times when teachers wouldn't quite meet this standard, most of the time they were doubling as coaches and didn't have time to focus on everything at once. Once you get into higher classes like AP and Dual Credit this is not a problem!

Sarcoxie High School
#5 Most Diverse Public High Schools in Jasper County
- Sarcoxie R-II School District, MO
- Rating 3.79 out of 5 14 reviews
Sophomore: I believe that Sarcoxie High school is one of the best schools for academics around. We have a lot of really good programs that have been put in place lately, such as the supper program which feeds kids after school that may not get another meal at home. Another thing is the new football, softball, and baseball fields.

Webb City High School
#6 Most Diverse Public High Schools in Jasper County
- Webb City R-VII School District, MO
- Rating 3.91 out of 5 180 reviews
Alum: I attended the Webb City school district for my entire primary education. I greatly benefited from attending this school. The teachers work very hard and make concepts easy to understand and retain. The school has a 99% graduation rate with a fairly high accumulative GPA for graduating students. There is an average of 400 student per graduating class that increases every year. There's many clubs and sports to join it's very encouraged by staff and students alike to become a part of an extracurricular activity. No matter what someone's interested in they'll find a club or team where they belong. It's a decent school but has very little diversity, racism and hate speech is taken very seriously. Teachers are very vocal about their religious beliefs, but it is a very christian area.

Jasper High School
- Jasper County R-V School District, MO
- Rating 3.29 out of 5 24 reviews
Alum: I was a student from the first preschool class they had, up until my senior year. It is kind of how you would expect a small town school to be, but I don't think I would have chosen any other way to grow up... I was fairly involved with school activities; Band, Basketball, baseball, volleyball manager, scholars bowl, football field maintenance, and even more. I was no where near being a A+ student, but that was mostly a personal choice. My graduating class consisted of a whole 32 people, so one thing is our graduation was about an hour long, but, even if I didn't care for all of my classmates 100%, I was able to get to know all of them fairly well. I still kinda hang out with some of them, and the ones I don't see anymore, I can still remember every single person I sat with during graduation, and I can somewhat remember most of those who moved away during the years that I had in my classes. I can say that I might not have enjoyed school at times, bu I will always remember Jasper High!

Carl Junction High School

- Rating 3.78 out of 5 205 reviews
Senior: I have attended Carl Junction school since the fourth grade. To say I have never had a problem with them would be an understatement. I could not have one complaint. I also felt safe at school. I've always felt important. I never felt that someone wasn't there for me. The teachers, staff, and administration are truly there for you every step of the way. If I ever had a problem someone was always there to help. I never had a problem or even saw a problem that wasn't taken care of with bullying. I am very proud to say that I will graduate from Carl Junction High School and even consider sending my future kids here.
