Senior: I loved being a student at Medford High School. Unlike a lot of schools around us, we are very diverse. One thing I love most about Medford High is that we are all similar to one big family. Everyone knows each other, and the teachers are more than just teachers; they're our best friends. A lot of what the teachers and faculty do for the students is make sure they have a plan after they graduate. Whether the student is attending a technical school or a university, every teacher helps in every way they can to make sure each student is prepared. The only thing I would say that needs to change is the leniency the teachers give to the students. I believe to an extent that teenagers need to be held accountable for their actions. After all, we are going to have to take care of ourselves after high school. I would make the discipline just a little bit more enforced. Alum: I loved the small school and class atmosphere. You get so much one on one time , and as a student here you are not just a number, they care about your future and everything about you. I highly recommend this school to anybody. Teachers are more than happy to stay after or come in before school to help you in a area that you might be struggling in. Junior: I have been a Pond Creek-Hunter student my entire life. There are many pros to this school, things like individuality and one on one help. However, this school does have its cons also. Pond Creek hasn't experienced much with racism/ oppression to other races/ LGBTQ+ community. This school also isn't very diverse in many ways. Although, Pond Creek is one of the best schools in the county when it comes to sports. While Pond Creek could use a little work on things, it is still one of the best things that has ever happened to me, and I wouldn't be the same person I am today without the faculty and staff....
