Niche User: Cole Academy is unlike any other school I've ever been involved with. In a good way. The staff is second to none. Each classroom has a teaching assistant so there is never an issue with teacher/student ratio. Cole competes academically with the best schools in the area, and considering their student base, this is no small feat. Having only one classroom each of K-6, there is a family like atmosphere. Being a charter school, there is no geographic area that is required to attend Cole. However, the majority of kids that start at Cole stay there through 6th grade. My one complaint used to be that they did not have an actual gymnasium. However, they built a great new one last year so that problem has been solved. I honestly would not want to send my child anywhere else and we will be sending our younger child to Cole as well (as soon as she is old enough for kindergarten).
