Senior: I had a great experience at De La Salle! I loved the culture at school and the people around me, it truly felt like i belonged and that everybody fit in and had their place. No one was left out and it felt like family. I felt like the work was challenging and has prepared me well for college. Our school had people of all different cultures, races, economic backgrounds, and social standings. They had every club you could think of and every sport, and if they did not then you could make one yourself with the help from an administrator. Senior: I am currently a high school senior at Cabrini. My overall high school experience has been one I will cherish forever because of everything Cabrini has given and taught me. I have grown extremely close to my class of 90 and virtually know almost all of my school's community! I am extremely grateful for the rigorous curriculum Cabrini has provided me to prepare me well for college. I am also in many clubs such as student council, ambassadors, and NHS which have helped me enhance my leadership skills. Parent: I can not say enough good about Quest School. My son was drowning in public schools. He was lost; frustrated; and unable to keep up especially in math. When he started attending Quest we saw a change almost immediately. School was no longer a dreaded chore. It had become fun. It had become an adventure. He started making friends with other kids who also learned a little differently. I won't say he is thriving socially; but he is doing better than he was in public schools. He is still behind his "AGE-group" in some of his subjects, but he is learning! He is working at his pace and is doing very well. I have watched him bring a math grade up from a C to an A. Senior: My first year in Lutheran High school was during Covid and it was in person learning instead of online but the teachers and staff did everything in their power to maintain a safe environment for the students while giving us a the opportunity to experience the high school year. The teachers are very easy to talk to and very helpful, if I ever needed help with anything the teachers were very welcoming and open to hear what I had to say and talk to me about it. Throughout my junior year (my first year there) I got to know all the teachers and I could tell that they understood our struggles during the pandemic so they made days where we would play games and come to school wearing pajama, they would also give us activities in class so we wouldn't be stressed out about classwork and homework. This is my second year at Lutheran High School and my last year here as well and I am glad to say that I will be graduating here as a senior. Senior: Hamilton has an excellent school culture. Everyone knows each other because of the low enrollment. The class sizes are small so students can get more one on one assistance. The teachers are nice and knowledgeable about the subjects they teach. At one time each student had a computer to take home but the school discontinued it. Junior: I went through a very difficult time in my life before I came to WOGA, I honestly did not like myself and I did not want to live anymore. I felt no worth, and I didn't know God. I came to Word of God Academy my freshmen year and my whole life changed. I came from a public school that will remain anonymous, where the classes had about 30 students and almost all of the teachers did not care about the students. My first year at WOGA had about seven students in my grade and all of the teachers wanted to know everything about me. Everyone made me feel extremely comfortable right away. I am a Junior now, and I just got baptised in December 2019, a month ago! Alum: As a recent alum, I have been catching myself thinking about my time at Ursuline Academy very frequently because of the wonderful memories I have made there. I attended Ursuline from Toddler 2 to Senior year. Now, as a college student, I feel as if I excelled in my academics, extracurricular activities, and social life because of the excellent way Ursuline prepared me for life after high school. I appreciate the sense of community Ursuline has to offer, especially the long-lasting bonds students are able to make with their teachers. The staff makes sure the school maintains a comfortable environment so students are able to learn attentively and grow at their own rate. Teachers urge students to step outside their comfort zone in order to experience new perspectives. This helped me in college because I was comfortable with putting myself out there more. Senior: I have been at Ascension Christian schools since I was in K4. Things I like about the school is that as do chapel every Friday and it is a good Christian environment. Another thing I like is other than public schools the teachers here can go their on past on their lesson and make sure every kid understands the lesson and they won’t let them fail or struggle on anything. Niche User: I am happy to return to school. Distance learning was hard, working with computer caused pain for eyes and fingers. I could understand the online lessons, but it was easier when we had face-to-face meetings with the teacher. One more thing I am happy about is to see my friends, meet new teachers. If the lessons were distance again, we won't have a chance to get introduced with teachers. We have new teachers this year." Breaks are shortened and we have to wash our hands many times. Also, you are not allowed to lend something to others. I am carrying water in the bottle as the water dispensers are turned off. Still, it’s good to go to school.
