Senior: I went into Saint Mary's Hall as a freshman and even though I was new going into the school, I fit right in! Over the past four years here I have found it easy to become involved in various activities such as sports, theater productions, and clubs, all of which are open and inviting to every student. Students here are encouraged to have a voice in school policy, and we frequently work with administration to figure out ways to benefit everyone in the community. Parent: The teachers are skilled in dealing with multiple styles of learning (kinesthetic, verbal, and visual) often integrating all three styles seamlessly throughout the day during any given lesson, based on the needs of the child. I am not worried that my youngest child with a summer birthday should be held back a year. Every student receives individualized plans, adjustments are made to assist the child where areas of growth are accelerating them in subjects where they show strength. All of the teachers receive training in the grades above them and they introduce advanced work if it is needed. As evidenced by the many accolades, Alcuin teachers are clearly in the top of their field. Parent: The teachers are all so amazing! They are nurturing and you can tell they really have a passion for teaching and growing minds. CCDS' 62-acre campus is unmatched and enable their rich outdoor education, my kids particularly enjoy the animal farm they have! Middle School Student: Casady School is the best school in OKC. It cant even be compared. You see, Casady's education is top nautch for all subjects. All though Casady has the best education, if you want somewhere that has great sports this is not the school for you. The diversity is being worked on, but Casady support all religions! The teachers push you through challenges but will always have your back. Now, If you want to go to a great college, Casady is your prep school! Its safety is off the charts. Lots of security guards and drills practiced every year. Although Casady has a pretty bad sports rating its hockey is amazing! The food is delicious from SAGE dining! Different hot meals every day! The school is kept very clean. If your a parent you can help out with field trips, sign up to be a teacher lunch in, etc. They have great science, math, and technology classes, guaranteed to get you into a food college! Parent: Pioneer Academy is a great school, both on the academic level and ethical level. It provided a safe and nourishing environment for both my kids, the elder of them attended Pioneer for the 4 years of high school and helped him a lot. He finished the school last year and now is enrolled in a highly ranked engineering college in New Jersey. My youngest son has been attending Pioneer since 3rd grade. He is now in 8th grade and enjoying the school with all that it offers, good teachers, great learning facilities, different sports activities and safe environment. Parent: I wasn't sure what to expect when I heard there was a Montessori inspired high school. The more I learn, I realize that Montessori goes hand-in-hand with International Baccalaureate and Real-life Experiential Learning. The students have a lot of choice in their course selection, and within courses the students who have a burning desire to dive deeper are given that runway. My teen happens to be fairly aggressive in her academic pursuits, and she's thriving at Beacon. What I love, though, is that every student is invited to express the best version of themselves. Honestly the students are thriving because their teachers are amazing - they bring creativity, joy, authenticity AND rigor to the classroom. Parent: I met with this school when I moved to NOVA. I have two kids graduated from Pinnacle Academy. First of all, the teachers are so passionate and dedicated to their craft. My kids had incredible opportunities in fine arts, and other extracurricular activities. The school administrators recognize the children by name and have a loving community. Secondly, the school has the powerful and challenging academic curriculum. I followed my kids improving themselves at finding out and expecting higher from themselves as well. Now, my daughter and my son get accepted good universities with good scholarship. The school has a dual credit enrollment opportunity with NOVA College for eligible students that help students get acceptance good colleges. They loved the school environment and they were happy. I started coming here in 7th grade due to the wonderful experience I had on my shadow day. The Summit has excellent resources for both general education and preparing you for life beyond the classroom. Alum: I went to Woods from pre-k through high school and loved it. The teachers were so supportive and genuinely wanted me to learn and remember the material rather than only memorize information for tests. I loved the emphasis on creative projects and how I was able to have so many leadership experiences within the community. We took amazing trips where I learned so much about politics, U.S. History, and even geology (with a fossil dig in 4th grade!). I truly do not have enough fantastic things to say about woods! Alum: I recently graduated from VIZ. I wholeheartedly had an amazing high school experience. I met 76 girls that I get to call my sisters and met my friends for life. I also received a top-tier education from few of the best teachers and mentors. Visitation Academy has thoroughly prepared me for my college education. I have found myself being able to navigate the workload and teacher expectations in college pretty well and I believe the reason is the atmosphere in which I completed my high school education. The only drawback I can think of us is that the administration department can be difficult to work with sometimes. They forget that they have to cater their ways to educate over 500 young girls and at times it is very much my way or the highway with them. Senior: As an IB Senior reflecting on my experience at NewGate I am overwhelmed with gratitude. Because of the small class sizes, I was able to form a tight-knit group of close friends-- many of whom I grew up with from attending elementary school together. Additionally, the teachers care about every single student and I truly felt that each of my teachers went the extra mile to look out for my best interests and mental health. From the "unity trip" where students stay overnight at a retreat to bond with each other to other ice-breakers that happen at the beginning of each year, I found it very easy to assimilate and make friends quickly. Also, despite the school's small size, there are many options for clubs and ways to get involved. For instance, I worked in the school uniform store and also started my own club.
