Senior: I’ve been in the Fort Wayne Community Schools district all through out my thirteen years of school. The programs and opportunities I’ve been able to receive is absolutely amazing. The teachers and staff treat you like their own and make sure you try to learn a much as possible.
During the pandemic FWCS did as much as they could so that their students could keep learning and stay engaged in our school work.
Going back to during the pandemic FWCS is doing so keeping the students safe. For example at my high we have individual desk in the lunch cafeteria that are six feet apart, every time we start class we have to clean our desk and before we leave we have have to wipe them down again. It’s the little things that make FWCS great.

Senior: This will be my fourth year, attending a school within the East Allen County district, and it has been an overall positive experience. During the Covid-19 pandemic, East Allen County Schools have been very mindful of their student’s health and overall well being. The school has been following CDC guidelines, in order to ensure their students remain in good health. Despite this, school lunches aren’t very nutritional. Students are not able to receive proper nutrition from the provided lunches. Due to this, most students must pack their lunches. On the contrary, East Allen County Schools is generally above average, with a 17:1 student-teacher ratio. Overall, this is a small ratio.

Junior: I love my school . The teachers are the only teacher that I have met that are so invested in your future.Also I think it’s a very strong community for each individual student because every student there is given a place whether it’s in a club or a sport. Also the administration is really career focused and hoping you get the diploma that’s going to help you succeed in life. They are not only there for college bound students but also students who wanna go into the trades. I don’t think I could speak more highly of the teachers and the overall supportive staff that I’ve helped me become the best student I could be in prep me and prepare me for life outside of high school. I love Nacs because they have become more invested in me than the other school district I went too.

Junior: Awesome to be here! Moved here from FWCS, and overall this place has been better in terms of education and the schools themselves. It's in a nicer area, buildings aren't broken, and the staff are awesome! I have enjoyed working with my peers and teachers, and have been quite a bit more challenged. The highschool has a lot of classes, AP and Dual credit options, and ways to intern or work with teachers. I'm unaware as to what exactly I am wanted to say? I'll just answer the questions..

I was in this district from first grade to graduating in 2017. Niche User: I attended WCCS since I was in the 6th grade! It is also the high school I graduated from! Which I am glad it was! WCCS helped me to prepare for college in so many helpful ways. There were so many things that had to be done by certain times, and all the teachers were very willing in helping all of us students to get them done! Especially the guidance department, they were the most helpful staff there! If it weren't for the guidance department, I fee like I wouldn't have been as ready as I was! They were honestly the greatest people ever! I will never forget them!

Alum: My experience at Northern Wells Community schools was great! The teachers form bonds with the students and the administration really works with students on future goals, or any conflicts they might have. There are no actual "clicks" because for the most part everyone gets along and talks with each other. Recently the high school was updated and now is even more safe, than it was before. Sports and the arts are appreciated highly here. Show Choir and band are extremely good and win many awards. Academics are valued highly there and teachers will work with you to ensure you do well. Advance classes are offered with teachers who are certified to teach the courses through IPFW. It is truly a wonderful place to be a part of!

Senior: My experience through the North Adams Community School district was great! Almost all of my teachers from grades k-12 were very personable. Up until high school when they become less involved, in order to prepare you for the real world. There were still plenty of teachers that were concerned about your personal life/problems if you were beginning to get bad grades. I had a handful of teachers I could go to for anything that was going on in my life. The academics were just as good! I earned more than 15 college credits through Bellmont High School. The Bellmont Early College program was a good addition to the school system.

Parent: As a teacher who has taught 12 years in a public school setting, I would have never imagined choosing private school for my sons. After a tough year in kindergarten, my oldest son struggled and didn’t show much academic progress due to large class size. After much thought, I realized that a smaller class size is what he needed to cultivate the best learning environment.

After researching all the available private schools here in Southern Frederick County, I was dismayed by the few options nearby. After thoughtful consideration, Barnesville fulfilled all of my expectations as a teacher parent. It provided small class sizes, a great amount of time spent outside, many cross-curricular learning opportunities, and a strong community. The teachers are extra caring and it was evident during our time distance learning. If you are looking for a school that offers meaningful relationships where your child is given many opportunities to grow and learn, Barnesville is for you!
