Senior: Unlike other big high schools, BCA has a very close relationship between students and teachers. you can feel that BCA’s teachers really care about the students.
Students in BCA are very competitive because we know what we want and we are working hard on it. My counselor helped me set up my own schedule with my goals. She talked to every student personally and gave us her advice.
Juniors at BCA have a course called “College Prep”, we learn how to prepare for college such as college research, college application, and personal essay. I think this is very helpful and every high schooler should take it.
As an international student, I can feel concern from school. We have international student meeting every week and international student special lunch every month. International student counselor talk to us in the meeting and support us if we need help.
BCA has very good art education. If you want to do art in college, I really recommend you to come to BCA

Alum: The best school I have been to. It had such a loving and nurturing environment and it allows you to grow in a judgement free environment. The teachers and staff are so kind and caring and there are great music, art, and computer programs. Although small, it’s the ideal place for most kids. I miss Mount Carmel with all of my heart, but I know it’s a community that will be there for me wherever I go.
