Spoon River Valley Senior High School
- Spoon River Valley Community Unit School District No. 4, IL
- Rating 4.13 out of 5 8 reviews
Junior: Spoon River Valley is a very small school in a rural community. The teachers here are very caring about the students and are very involved in their lives. Although most class sizes are 30 students or less, it should not deter anyone from attending. The teachers and curriculum are very good at preparing the students for college and life. If there were anything I would like to see change it would be the expanding of sports teams and renovation of the facility. Overall a great place to study and prepare for higher education.

Alum: Some things that I loved about my school were that I knew everyone and everyone knew me. Throughout my high school year we suffered many tragedies as a community, but that brought us all together and made the hard times a little bit easier to get trough.

Lewistown Junior/Senior High School
- Lewistown Community Unit School District No. 97, IL
- Rating 3.45 out of 5 49 reviews
Senior: I have personally enjoyed all that Lewistown Jr/Sr High School has offered in my four years of high school. My mother moved us to Lewistown to make sure I would have an enjoyable experience of a small town high school. She did not want me to be a number but an actual name of a student body that I could be proud to call my graduating class.

VIT Senior High School
- VIT Community Unit School District No. 2, IL
- Rating 3 out of 5 10 reviews
Junior: VIT is a small school where everyone knows everyone. You are in small classes so every student gets enough time with the teachers to ask questions and get the help they need. The overall environment is safe and welcoming. I feel like what could be improved is more class options. I would like it if there was a lot more extracurricular classes that I could take. For example, ASL or AP classes. Overall, VIT’s academics isn’t that great, but they are working on correcting their courses.
