    Parent: We transferred my son to The Prairie School in Elementary School after he experienced some challenges at another school in the area. After extensive research, we enrolled him at Prairie mid year. The teacher, staff, and students embraced him with open arms. He quickly began to shift his opinion of school. He received individual attention to overcome his reading challenges and now excels throughout all subjects. He has become a well rounded child that loves school and participates in many diverse activities including sports and the arts. We have had nothing but excellent experiences throughout the school. The environment is one of developing all aspects of the child. The curriculum is challenging and keeps him engaged while peaking his interests and curiosity. For our family, The Prairie School has been an answered prayer and is the only choice for education in our family.

    Senior: I transferred to Marquette University High School without knowing any of the current students. On the first day of school, I made so many friends because MUHS has a strong bond called the brotherhood. Each student is friendly to one another because we are ONE MARQUETTE. The teachers at MUHS pay close attention to all their students. They are always willing to stay after school to help you understand the material. Marquette is a place where students have several academic opportunities to become successful in the future. The rigorous material and grading scale, preparers all students for the ACT and for college. Most importantly, Marquette builds mature young men. Through the required service opportunities, each student gets to experience the greatness of helping others out, which helps shape them into the outstanding students they are. Overall, deciding to attend Marquette University High School was one of the best decisions I've ever made.

    Sophomore: The academics are especially strong, people take courses that challenge them. Whether that be double math classes, or several AP courses. Yes, there are shenanigans occasionally , but that's what they are. Shenanigans. I find that there is growing diversity in Edgewood especially in the Asian population. The teachers at Edgewood make you the best student you can be. Teachers go above and beyond if needed. Scheduling meetings with teachers is super easy. Also, there is an additional area called the Learning Resource Center (LRC). It is additinal help for those wishing for additinal help in a separate portion of the library. Times are scheduled by when the student has off mods. There is an additinal price for the LRC. The safety of Edgewood is very good. Students look out for each other, and teachers look out for students. Edgewood is a closed campus, so entrance and exiting of the campus is monitored and restricted. It's really a great school of hard working people.

Every year, I pushed myself out of my comfort zone through service-learning trips abroad, varsity sports, rigorous courses, enriching electives, club activities, and more. The welcoming and kind community at W-H helped me discover new strengths. As a current college student, many of the most dynamic teachers I have ever encountered are from my days at The Wardlaw-Hartridge School. I loved the diversity, which was not just racial, but also socioeconomic. It brought together a community made up of students with a diversity of experiences. In class, we analyzed works of literature from many different cultures. Wardlaw-Hartridge understands that we are all global citizens, living in a globally interconnected world.     Niche User: There is a wonderful, warm community feeling about the school, from the positive, joyful, purposeful engagement of teachers and students to the way parents support it. It's very international and diverse, but everyone feels welcomed and and engaged. The school is responsive to individual needs and balances them with the well-being of the whole community, especially as we have many students advancing a grade in math, which can be a scheduling challenge. The International Baccalaureate program is fantastic. Our kids will be more prepared for college than we were. There is a non-secular character education program that guides kids to mature gracefully. Older students routinely work with younger students. Art, music and athletics are thriving. It's a very positive time of rapid growth, academic achievement, and sporting achievement, which is new for us and expansion of staff and programming. We are embarking on a campaign to expand campus facilities to accommodate our growing student body, so it's an exciting time. The college counselor is excellent, too.

    Alum: Excellent academics, and when we wanted something not offered, the faculty always accommodated us. While I was there, they made a US Gov and Greek class at our request. Clubs were good, well run by dedicated faculty. I enjoyed Model UN, JCL, and more. I didn't participate, but the people involved in the Thespian group and music are also outstanding.

    Students were very diverse for a prep school, a good mix of int'l students, day students, boarding students; students on financial aid, well-off students; students from cities and from farms - the whole lot. Facilities are good and always improving, Wayland makes smart investments in itself.

    Wayland doesn't excel in sports, but there's a plus to this. Anyone can participate and almost anyone can be good (relatively). If you're new to a sport, or not athletic, Wayland's great, because you'll get to enjoy the sport, learn, and never be cut or put down. Sports at Wayland are more like creating habits for an active lifestyle longterm.

    Junior: University Lake School is an amazing school that will help you feel completely prepared for college. The teachers are enthusiastic and love what they do. The curriculum can be difficult and you will definitely be challenged. The campus is beautiful with 180 acres of land filled with beautiful trails. The students provide a close-nit community with an accepting atmosphere. It is not difficult to find your place, even though there are so little students.

    Senior: Notre Dame Academy is not just a school. It is a home, it is a family. The faculty and staff work relentlessly to make sure that it feels that way. NDA is also a wonderful learning community. The students at NDA take their academics very seriously. Getting good grades is cool, and studying is the normal after school activity. I think that the competition drives students to want to do better, however the pressure can sometimes be too much. When the competition levels rise too high, anything less than an A+ seems unacceptable. The judgemental ness among peers is the only thing I dislike about the Academy and it is driven by grades. I believe that the emphasis should be placed more on learning and mastery, rather than grades. But regardless Notre Dame is a place I am proud to call home, and I know 700 of my peers are as well. Tritons take pride in who they are, and where they come from.

Pius XI has been a great experience for me. I have learned so much from their strong academics, compassionate teaching and values, and will carry out what I learned into my future. I am very proud to say that I go to Pius XI Catholic High School. It is very different from most, being known nationally for their fine arts department, being one of the most diverse high schools in Wisconsin, and being a place that I can call home.

    Senior: After attending Martin Luther High School for almost four years, I have seen a dramatic impact the school's faculty and curriculum has left on me. The teachers in this school continuously reached out to me, making sure I was doing okay. I was convinced by many of my peers to join the wrestling team, and three years later I am the captain of other people I now call brothers and sisters. Leadership was not the only thing that Martin Luther taught me. I learned the true meaning of commitment, hard work, and the importance of academics. The courses provided in the school curriculum are challenging ones that prepare students for college as well as the common hardships of life. Had I not attended this assiduous school, many opportunities that I have now, would not be available to me. In conclusion, Martin Luther High School is one of the greatest educational institutions to ever be established.

    Senior: I love attending St. Catherine's because of its traditions and diverse student population. There are so many activities to get involved in including sports, clubs, and service projects; you just have to take the initiative! The academics are challenging and the teachers are dedicated and really care about the students and prepare us for college. At 150 years old, the school is old but has character and many stairs. Because so many alumni visit and attend sporting events, I wish the school could build an elevator so everyone can keep coming back to support their alma mater.
