Alum: American heritage is an amazing private school with so many opportunities. The different pre-professional tracks, including pre-law, pre-med, engineering, biomedical engineering, computer science, and business are taught by professionals in the real field. The academic workload is intense at times but the teachers are (for the most part) great! The clubs outside of school are also great as well. There’s many competitive clubs like debate, robotics, model UN, math, olympiads, science research, and so much more. Senior: I have attended Gulliver for years and they run an amazing educational system. All the students create great, professional relationships with their teachers and it really helps the learning process. Their Theatre department is outstanding. Everyone has amazing opportunities to broaden their acting and musical ranges. They have amazing sports teams and the student body has great school spirit. Junior: Overall, I was incredibly impressed when I first joined Carrollton. I feel comfortable in an all-girls school and nearly every teacher there genuinely teaches well. The campus is gorgeous, but the only downside is the lack of a cafeteria. We sit outside in the hot Florida sun to eat lunch every day, and school lunch isn't even included with the already expensive tuition. Our son is a rising Junior and we cannot be more thrilled with how he has progressed academically, socially, and as a newly minted global citizen (having traveled through Europe via a Tampa Prep based practicum). However, what has amazed us the most, was experiencing the thoughtfulness demonstrated by the faculty, when my son fractured his leg. Parent: We love our Holy Trinity experience so far! We have a 8th grader and a 10th grader. They both came from a homeschooling background so it was an adjustment for them. The school worked with us both socially and academically to help find the right level for each student. As far as the social aspect, they assigned an ambassador for each of them when they started there to help them feel comfortable asking any questions they had and just having someone to sit with at lunch. Sophomore: St. Thomas is a well rounded experience. There are a wide variety of clubs and activities to get involved. The accademic support is excellent and they give you the tools you need to succeed. They also give plenty of opportunitues to gain your service hours through volunteering or various charities. The teachers I had as an incoming freshman were all excellent. I am really looking forward to my Sophomore year. The one thing I would have chaged as a freshman was my luch time period A, very early to eat lunch. I hope next year is a later time. One thing I really enjoyed was my elective, guitar class. Senior: I love the First Academy, I began coming to TFA last year. I was instantly accepted and so loved. My College advisors pay so much attention to college pathways and mental health. Administration is very strict on dress code, but they have the best intentions. There are so many opportunity's for everyone here whether that is Coding, fine arts, childcare, sports, or service. The extensive amounts of clubs, committees, and student involvement is just insane. I would not want to choose another high school to graduate from.
