Gramercy Christian School
Alum: Due to its small class size, Gramercy really allows you to get to know your classmates who are both years older and younger. The teachers genuinely care about you as a person, not just a student; they see themselves as there to prepare you for life beyond secondary education and impart knowledge through their respective subjects, not just give you some information so you can pass the class.
If anything could change about Gramercy, it would be their offering of AP courses. I only had one AP course in my time there, and my performance on the AP exam was a poor reflection on my actual performance in the class. The material was dense, and the class did not follow the syllabus too terribly closely, so the course, as a whole, was a challenge for myself and the other sophomores. However, because this was a college-level course being taught by a part-time college professor, it served very well in preparing my peers and me for college classes in the future.
