Senior: Classical Prep holds a special place in my heart. The mission of the school, which is incredibly impactful, is to produce individuals who can think for themselves and strive towards not only a successful career but also in being a well-rounded person. With this, I struggle with the fact that oftentimes the high school students are treated as if we are younger than we actually are. While they speak great words of wisdom, I often feel my hand is held and I deserve more freedom. I believe the school has changed me for the better, considering I have been there since 7th grade, however, I believe there needs to be a better sense of trust towards the students to have more liberty and really embrace the idea of individuality and strive to be our own people who can reason well, speak confidently, and stand apart from the crowd.
