Senior: The school overall keeps a high standard in its education, athletic department, and courses focusing on the arts. Certain clubs and sports like debate team and track and field really stand out as the best the school has to offer in competition by winning first or runner-up in state championships year after year. The band, both marching and concert, is considered one of the best in the tide water area with Superior rankings received every year for the past sixteen years.
The building is relatively new with some slight structural issues regarding some faulty construction and repair work that took place last year.
So far, the school staff has handled Covid-19 procedures in a professional manner. It’s been a slow process to get all the students back in the building, and I wish the school itself could do more for the students, because it’s hard to keep up with schoolwork virtually nowadays, (especially for seniors!)
