Senior: Friend High School is a great place. It it is a small school in a small town, so everyone really knows everyone there. The teachers have good relationships with their students and the Administration is close to the kids as well. I would say though that a lot of emphasis is put on sports, perhaps even too much sometimes. However, that is probably the only negative. I have loved my time there and I would say that it is the best secondary education school that I have attended.

High School Senior: Most parents are always very supportive. The girl athletics has not always had the best turnout and parents speak negatively of them. I might of wanted to go to a different school because I have the ability to choose different classes and be involved more. And be more involved in better athletic programs.

Crete High School
#3 Best Public High School Teachers in Saline County
- Crete Public Schools, NE
- Rating 3.82 out of 5 57 reviews
Senior: My experience at Crete High School has been very positive to me. I love so many things about this school, including the teaching, my friends which make school way better, and the extracurricular activities. Crete does an amazing job of making everyone feel included, which is so important in teen age lives. This year has been a challenge for everyone and viewing the way Crete deals with these challenges makes me happy. The only think I could say Crete could improve on is reaching out to parents more. There are some parents that are not up to date with technology which makes it hard to communicate. Overall, I have had such a wonderful experience at this high school and I’m so happy that Crete High School is written in ink on my Diploma in May.

Dorchester High School
- Dorchester Public Schools, NE
- Rating 3.53 out of 5 19 reviews
Senior: Throughout my four years of attending Dorchester it has been great. Although I have my ups and downs I have an amazing counselor and she is always on top with me about college. My first two years were rough especially my grades. I was struggling with mental health and family issues. But I pulled myself up and got those grades up during junior year mostly because I knew what I wanted to go to college for. The teachers are very helpful the farther you are along in school. Most of my teachers are willing to stretch due dates for me, although in college it is different. I do sometimes stress about school work but the fact that they stretch out due dates and such for me. I have created some amazing friendship with people. Actually I am living with someone I did create a strong bond with, mostly because of living situations with my parent. I think Dorchester is amazing and the grading system really challenges you to do better compared to bigger schools.
