Young Americans Christian School
Alum: Young Americans Christian School (later referred to as "YACS") lives up to its advertisement of college preparation. Education is general, but it is centered around the Christian worldview. YACS is a pretty small school (my graduating class had around 45 people in it), so it falls behind in some categories, including clubs and activities, sports, and electives. The school lacks "class" diversity, which may be a consequence of the price. During my stint at YACS (7th-12th grade), I made good relationships with teachers and staff, served in various capacities, and learned a lot from the underlying culture. For those able to afford private education, I recommend considering this unique and effective school.
