Junior: Highland is an outstanding school for a plethora of reasons. For one, bullying is nonexistent. You think that such a concept is not possible, but it is true. Because of the small school size, everyone knows everyone, and they become joined as a family. In rare cases when bullying does arise, the situation is immediately addressed. Another reason that justifies Highland's excellence is that its academic state is fantastic. Highland takes learning to the next level with hands-on activities, not just lectures and worksheets. Finally, the staff cares deeply for the students, and parents get involved in their student's education. This is something that is rare in today's world, but it is very commonly found at Highland. Highland is ranked as one of the top schools in the nation for the reasons given and for many others, not to mention that Highland won the National Blue Ribbon Award. Highland has earned its standing, and it certainly has my acclaim. I hope it has yours.

Alum: Sweetwater Highschool has a wide variety of cultures and groups, allowing everyone to fit in somehow or another. The teachers aren't just there to get paid, they're there to make a difference and prepare you for your next journey in life, whether it's college or the work force. The academic courses are amazing, and they allow so many opportunities to gain college course hours. In fact, I left SHS with 32 dual credit hours, allowing me to save an entire year of time and money at the college level. This school shaped me into who i am today.

Senior: I am graduating as a Senior from Roscoe Collegiate HS, entering its high school as a freshman. Here, the student aims to graduate high school but also graduate with an Associate Degree from a neighboring community college. We started taking dual credit classes as freshmen. Most of our dual credit courses were taught through online courses, which I believe made learning difficult. I would like for this school to have course facilitators who better understand the material being taught in the online courses. I think this would increase student motivation and understanding. However, my final year of dual credit courses helped me grow in discipline and organization because of the increase in personal responsibility. Also, I believe course rigor explains why we have little club participation. Challenging courses don't leave a student with much free time. My experience with the administration was always pleasant. They were always understanding and helpful.
