Senior: I was impressed with the diversity of the students and the teaching staff. I had more opportunities for clubs, leadership, arts, and sports than I had time to take on. I have been blessed to be a student at Wichita West High School! I've had THE BEST TEACHERS who have advanced degrees in their specific academic area. I'm an average student but I got to go to a school that supports ALL students, not just the wealthy or 4.0 students! I went K-8 at a private school so I know the difference in private and public schools. Private schools cater to students who are super smart or who have wealthy parents. The moment I stepped into Wichita West I was greeted with the friendliest group of students I'd ever met. I immediately was welcomed into clubs and volunteering with Wichita West. I've been so blessed to be a Pioneer and I am proud to be a graduate (in two months) of Wichita West High School!
