Senior: My experience at Aurora High School has been very exciting! I had transferred here my junior year from the rival school; I had made some really good friends right away and was welcomed with open arms. I made memories at football, volleyball, basketball games, and even in the dugout for softball. I even made some in the classroom. With Aurora High School, though, it is in such a small town that everyone is super close and does a lot together in the community. For me coming from a pretty big city, this was so nurturing and comforting to have and it helped me experience myself and learn another side of me.

High School Senior: I love the atmosphere. For the most part everyone is friendly and most of the students are good kids. The teaching styles are great and going to watch ball games are always a blast.

Giltner High School
#3 Best Public High School Teachers in Hamilton County

Senior: What I honestly like most about Giltner High School would be its size and tight-knit community, you'll know almost everyone that lives in Giltner and goes to Giltner before your first year is finished. Lots of parents get involved with activities, the community is always involved in the school. Our school size makes it easy to adjust, to learn what classes are in which rooms. And it's relatively easy to learn all about your classmates, considering our biggest classes rarely reach 30, it's more around 20 or less kids per class!
Now what I would like to see change about Giltner High School... Our school handbook definitely needs re-evaluating, as the times/morals/opinions of the community, the administrators, and the students change. More male teachers for major subjects would be splendid, as most of our teachers are female and not so relate-able to the male students. Maybe it's time to introduce clubs, a new sport, or even a new class or two!
