Senior: Academically it is an excellent district, the high school had an incredible variety of classes, extracurriculars, etc. The only issue I've had over the years at the high school is due to the schools excellence and how high it ranks compared to the rest of the country. If you are even just an average student (above average compared to national averages), its easy to feel way below your peers. Syosset has an environment where it's "cool" to be stressed, staying up late frequently for schoolwork, overloading yourself with hard classes, sports, clubs, etc. It can be extremely overwhelming at times, and it can make you feel very out of place among your peers, even if you do better than you think.
